He talked about how there’s so many drummers out there acting all guarded and afraid to make a mistake, and yet here’s this girl out here just letting loose. And yeah, she’s absolutely killing it on the drums, but (as these guys observed early on in the video) she’s HAVING THE TIME OF HER LIFE DOING IT. As an avid concert-goer, that translates almost more than anything else. Y’all can have all the special effects, lighting, and pyro in the world. And that’s all well and good. But the thing that usually makes me the most likely to let loose and have a great time as an audience member is if you (the performer) look like you’re doing the same.

I'm 51, started drumming when I was 13 mainly because of Dave Lombardo's double bass. Not many metal drummers play with a single bass pedal, Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain is an exception and he sounds like he's playing with two pedals on a lot of songs. I gave her video a Thumbs Up, no jealousy here, just very impressed. I can't play blast beats anymore, 2 minutes in and I'd have to stop and put on an oxygen mask.

@@THENOBODIESREACTS Yeah, I slowed down on metal reaction channels for awhile, every channel is copy/paste doing all the same songs so I mostly just watch reactions to songs I've never seen a reaction to yet, those are few and far between. I've seen drummers reactions to this video a few times, suggested Aquiles Priester's cover but no takers. Seriously, as a drummer you need to watch him play, it'll blow your mind. Got a couple other suggestions for you guys, some new old school thrash. Sacred Reich - Awakening Flotsam & Jetsam - Brace For Impact And because there still aren't any reactions to it, Death Angel - The Ultra-Violence, a 9 minute instrumental, the drummer was 14 when it was recorded in 1985, 2 years before the album's release.

I've played this song a few dozen times, and that ending is very high level... she nailed it as did the rest of the song!! Any proffesional drummer have fear, and keep their heads down. She so so young, energetic, and confident. There not a drop of fear in that young girl. She's so play letting it rip by muscle memory. She has the stamina, so no issues there either. She also not doing that off the cuff either. She's practiced that many times as well. Hats she's doing isn't all that difficult, just keep it tight!

The group (of 3) found a new drummer and rebranded as Trident. And amazingly enough the drummer they found (Nagisa) is a Junna clone. Also if i recall correctly, Junna did not start playing the drums until she was 15.

If you like Junna, you will LOVE Yoyoka Samo, another Japanese drum prodigy. She will be 13 this year and has been playing drums since she was 2 years old, and there's video to prove it. She had her own KZbin channel at 5 and has been doing tutorials from the age of 6. She does not read music but can play by ear alone. It takes her 1 day to memorize a song and then makes a cover video. Last year for her 12th birthday she did a series of live sessions with some of Japan's best session musicians. You have to check out her work, it's amazing.
