Nice stuff! Saw the 9020 and 9022 pulling CSX Q165, a run through intermodal train that has run through CP power on it. Definitely weird to see a pair of these units in Pennsylvania.

I have no picture proof but saw powder blue central maine & railway engine 9020 July 19/2020. in bound from west to cp yard mccowan scarborough ontario -it was 4th of 5 engines i believe..maybe 160 cars. Looked in good shape.

I suppose anything is possible but my guess is that the SD40-2F’s will be scrapped eventually. I’m sure they sold them for a reason, so I can’t see why they’d want them back.

Interestingly enough CP has been using them quite a bit on the D&H, and has sent them as far west at Toronto.

Canadian Pacific bought the railroad, so now you see a lot more CP up here. CMQ's locomotives are still around, though. They've been seen roaming outside of Maine.
