Love how in the shower scene with Caitlyn, she was looking back at that scene with Vi backwards, like she was thinking what she should have done instead of just letting her leave. Having shower thoughts about things you should have done is honestly the most relatable thing in this series so far.

But it was mentioned many times in the first episodes with Jayce refusing to go back to the family business because he wanted to make Hextech work. Jinx has reactive attachment disorder from losing her primary caretakers violently repeatedly. Her relationships reflect that. She doesn’t have good boundaries or appropriate physical expression. Kids with RAD are often effusively randomly affectionate, even to strangers. She doesn’t really understand how to have relationships. Remember Chuck/Theirum the bartender and her bear hugging him? How she jumped on Vander when he first spoke to her when she first met him? Many examples of her lack of boundaries with Vander.

@@detectivebrown6211 i think it's pretty comparable with what op means... silco is just so goddamn bad for jinx (AND shares a number of similarities) that it stands out hahaha there is a real feeling and bond, but there's also an isolation that he nurtures in her so that jinx remains like him (and kills the parts of her that aren't) and only answers to him. the only thing that could break that down was vi, and silco knows it and does his best to prevent it.

The audio clues are so subtle but the sound design team respected the league players including the in-game sounds in the show. Same with the scene where Jayce and Vi are fighting. When Vi charges I think that's her ult sound and Jayce transforming hammer is the same as the in game one too!

The unending series of cycles: Vi taking Jinx when she was Powder, unknowingly to steal from Jayce. Brought her back to the source of where it all began. Blinded by the pursuit of removing Silco, similar to her drive for attaining respect. Displayed when we first got introduced to her. All In effort to recover the person she _unintentionally_ left behind. Vi failed to grasp that she perpetuated a previous act. In _choosing_ to walk away this time around. Even if done with similarly sound rationale and overall motive(taking time to recollect herself same as before. Only now she did so by aiding the person who need her; Caitlin that she wasn't able to with Powder). Was the wrong application to reconnect with Jinx; it actually caused her mental state to further cement itself. As that'll again be her last formative memory of Vi. Reinforcing and refining her mental instability. The sequence that illustrates this. Is in the very same moment Jinx is undertaking torment through a tortuous transformation forcing her to survive. We are shown Vi 'bonding' with Caitlin. Drawing parallel to Viktor collapsing while dying working on advancing hextech. As Jayce and Mel work on their sextech. I interpret Jayce and Vi are justified in being the catalysts to greater events(as good intentions often lend itself to ones own destruction). From the start and all throughout they're in situations they didn't intend on being in, nor have the knowhow to navigate once in it's midst. Whether they run headlong into them knowingly; Vi or not; Jayce. Solidifies why they're untimely fated in their most trying moments. When it comes to application of being the Fox and figuring when it's best to be the Wolf. 'In the pursuit of great we failed to do good.' -Viktor

We've seen the gauntlets earlier as they were meant for mining as Jayce's family makes hammers, only seemed natrual to build one. The only hang up I have is that the gauntlets must weigh alot and earlier when Jayce picked up the rock, there's no way his shoulder should be in his socket. But I'm thinking it's because of magic gauntlets that he's able to. Also funny to hear you talk about Blind Wave...

Schnee makes a really good analysis about Sky (Victor's assistant). She was an unimportant character that died a sad death that wasn't that impactful to us because we didn't know her. However, it was the same for Victor who also didn't know her well but it's because he didn't know her and her death was so wasteful that he feels so horribly about it.

I love how this show how the characters make decisions that seems like the right thing to do and instead it just escalates things further. Like in the precious episode, when Sevika told Silco "be patient, [Jinx] will come to you when she's ready" which honestly sounds like good advice... until we see Jinx in meltdown mode, and it ends up with her leaving and going after her sister. If Silco had talked to her, maybe he could've stopped her from deteriorating further. And in this episode, when Vi makes her passionate speech to the council and calls out their complacency. When she convinces Jayce you think "finally someone is actually doing something! Finally someone on the council is taking action!" But that action just drives an even bigger wedge between Piltover and Zaun. At the same time, continuing to ignore the issues in Zaun and letting Silco run that ship is not the right answer either. This series is really good at showing that even though your argument and reasoning are sound you don't truly know what the consequences of your actions will be. And sometimes there are no 'right' decisions.

Most of all i feel bad for Jinx in this Series, alot of Characters have it bad but damn, Jinx lost it all. With Shimmer in her veins i dont know if there is a return to "normal" possible for her. It seems like she is gone for good, but i still have hope :D To not know what is real and what isnt, to question everyone around you and what they do, to permanently question yourself and your mind. Has always been one of my biggest fears. Edit: Wont give up on VixCait either, that shower scene where Cait thinks about what she should have done... :(

The viktor running scene reminded me a lot of a scene in Warrior Nun (a show I highly recommend you react too). The main character is Quadriplegic but gets her legs back, and there is a very similar and emotional scene where she runs on a beach for the first time.

I think Jinx’s mental age was stunted by trauma, she thinks and acts (when she’s not having a mental break or psychotic episode) is more like a 10 year old then an older teen. She also has trust/attachment issues, as does Silco. So I don’t think the scenes of her on Silco’s lap or resting her head on his shoulder/chest is as weird as people think. They definitely don’t have a normal Father Daughter relationship, but it still IS a Father Daughter relationship.
