Those 'scrubs' are still demon slayers, they got no amazing backstory nor abilities, they're every day people who suffered from demons. They are useful in so many ways we'll see later. I'm glad they added more to them.

I thought Marketa read the manga, but the reason why the wind and snake hashira didnt tell the rest of the hashiras about the hideout is because every scene with them is anime only. Alot of this arc is anime only because its so short in the manga.

nah, he can still fight, because he's a beast. but he's basically missing the whole left side of his body lol he's considerably less effective in battle and has a big blind spot. he can be an ex shinobi and ex hashira, but he can't grow an arm and eye.

Uzui can most certainly fight but he cant confidently go into the final war without expecting a high chance of kicking the bucket and since he made that promise to his wife it would be wrong of him to go back on his word now. Plus if i'm not mistaken he's the second weakest hashira maybe the weakest now that he's nerfed so there's that.

Im so glad they are adding scenes now to flesh out the final arc, in the manga some things just happen, with no build up to it or acknowledgement from the characters, or things happen off screen. This is helping flesh the story out, i hope...

@@natalimoina sure, there is setup, but it seems OP is talking about that sometimes (especially on this arc) things "just happen" one after another and it feels (at least to me) that you're like reading a summary of a manga or a book instead of an actual manga. DS has a "show don't tell" style of writing which is awesome, but sometimes it kinda feels exposition heavy (like, a lot of "and then 10 days passed and the training ended. ok, next scene" or "the reason why this person is like this is because of X" or smt like that). i personally don't mind it a lot, but again, it does feel kinda rushed sometimes. and it's nice that the anime is fleshing out those "weaker/rushed" moments and reinforcing the themes of the series. don't get me wrong, i love DS. the themes and the character design/visuals that Gotōge-sensei created are one of my favs things about it and especially without such good art Ufotable wouldn't been able to make it look so beautiful. i also like the writing and the story a lot, but i don't think is a perfect manga, especially the writing on those moments i've mentioned. and i think it shouldn't be, is the first popular manga Gotōge does, they're still "new" to this media, they don't need to be perfect.

Just to add we're not going to get any more hashira and Tanjiro arcs, so giving the only 2/3 that didn't get a moment with him more to do is much appreciated and will make the ending hit harder. I hope they add something about the new 5th Upper moon too, so Zenitsu fight hit harder. Also this episode was 6 panels in the manga...lol anything helps make it not feel rushed, considering that is their last interaction & their previous encounter changed their lives. lol oh look i still wrote an essay.

Sanemi and Iguro said they went back there and they didn't find any hints or traces of demon's there. that it was like they disappeared. so i'd say yes, they probably talked about it, went there to do some recon and didn't find anything which I why guro says he believes this is even more of a calm before the storm.

It’s a fun joke to be like all the non named characters are gonna die but that scene where they said they would train to be fodder exemplifies the core of the show and why I push back against the breathing being magic that it took all the sacrifices along the way to get to this point no one has super healing, they can’t see in the dark even tanjiro would have died way back in season 1 ep 19 if yoruichi hadn’t been passing by and helped deliver that kid and asked his ancestor to pass on hinokami to repay the favor

well no. To become a hashira a highest rank slayer need to kill a demon moon alone. And all this battle tanjiro was always helped by people to kill demon moons. So still tanjiro is not a hashira level nor the hashira has amy goals regarding tanjiro.

Why wouldn't they have not mention the demon hideout that they encountered? This arc is only five chapters in the manga, so they have to milk this season, unfortunately.
