Ohh I prayed so much that when he starts playing through the middle, he does really well. Sadly, injuries kept bringing the breaks the man shouldn't have got. He was like many arsenal players under the later Wenger era a great player on his day, unfortunate injuries (especially the acl but after that he was plagued with niggle injuries that prevented a proper comeback after the acl. I feel he was just becoming the player of his potential then the acl injury cost him a World Cup cap and he never even got back in the England squad after that it’s so sad.

So many players at Arsenal have had careers that were massively impacted by injuries. Walcott was definitely one of those players. Whenever he was playing well consistently he would have an injury that would keep him out for months and it was a full start over again every time.
