Sculpting & 3D Printing Cavern Walls

If you want to make something modular in Bldner there are a few ways to go about it. The easiest is just to use the mirror modifier. You can mirror while sculpting, which means each side will match up identically. The mirror modifier will slice things in half for you, which means you can print longer pieces of wall. If you want to get really fancy and make a wall you can link together indefinitely, use the mirror modifier to make sure both ends are identical. Then, slice the middle 2/3ds of the wall away from the rounded ends. You can now print the center part and linked it together infinitely and then just print the two cap sides to close them off at the ends. This is the same process used for a lot of modular art - including those retro sprites in old video games.
