I went through a period where I literally “prayed on” the armor every morning as if I didn’t do that I would be unprotected. Again, it left the burden on me. One day I realized that every part of it was Christ…not me at all.

I "am" the worst of sinners 2 Tim 1:15. This verse is me too. I am at times lazy and tired. I'm 70 and with many health issues. I even use that as an excuse a lot... But This is a trustworthy saying and deserving of full acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...(like me). Thanks so much you guys!! for pointing me again and again toward Him and away from myself.

Can actually feel the deliverance while listening to this! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 so much confusion in the body today.. this transported me back to that original joy of salvation I used to have! Wow!! I have known for a long time one of satan’s tactics was to make us believe the Christian life is too hard.. and yes, that stems from a works gospel and focusing on ourselves instead of clinging to Christ… found myself getting messed up even though I KNOW this.. so I’m like wow! How many babes are getting defeated by this lie! Thank you and God bless! ❤

This message is so helpful. It is more than helpful. Please slow down when talking. It was hard to catch what you are saying at times. I used the transcript to follow a second time and even the transcript had a hard time transposing. I expect a error here and there in the transcript but there were many errors. I suggest you listen and use the transcript at the same time and you will see what I'm saying. This is the best message on spiritual warfare I have ever heard in 30 years! I plan to listen again and save this for future reference. I have and will share with others as well. We are attack all the time and people need this so much!

There are two types of righteousness for the believer in the church age. Imputed and practical. For Ephesians 6 and the armor of God both of them apply. We need Christ's righteousness but we also need a life of Holiness because sin Gives place to the devil

Where is Christ? He is in your heart and in the heavenlies, at the right hand of God, and you are also before God in heaven. Through Christ''s perfect life, voluntary death, burial, resurrection and ascension, he placed you into himself, in the heavenlies. Gospel Truth, righteousness, complete salvation, faith, and the spirit are all in Christ where you reside. Walk into any room, and see how things change either for the better or the worse. Christ lives in you, but most importantly you are in all the armour of God, because you are in Christ.

Are you high or just driven by utter hate, due to your ignorance about Calvin and the Institutes? I suppose we're supposed to toss out Hodge, Ryle, Jones, Edwards and Owen, as well? You're no different than the atheists who refuse to believe in God because of how angry they are at Him. How about instead you present the biblical framework from which the doctrines of grace are shown to necessarily be erroneous?

Well, according to Calvinism/Reformed Theology you first have to hope you're one of the random pre-chosen elect & will be irresistibly put in Christ & not a preordained reprobate made for destruction by God's divine decree. Then "IF" one of the regenerated you will be given faith to believe the gospel & then live the confusing life of "So do/can I use my free will to be disciplined to study scripture & put on the Armour of God? Or is Calvinistic Absolute Determinism/Theistic Determinism/Meticulous Determinism gonna make me do it? Because my Pastor believes the man-inspired confessions of the West Minster & LBC "God decrees all things, whatsoever comes to pass"...then contridicts itself by stating "Buuut your still responsible for your sinful actions"
@heartofalegend9 ай бұрын
Boy, imagine, Calvin, Luther, Knox, Owen, Ryle, Edwards and Spurgeon have all been bewitched by man-made fairytales with no Scriptural basis whatsoever and we would never have known it, if it wasn't for the keen insight of Mike Lyons. Your ignorance is exceeded only by your arrogance. You're trotting out the same tired useless snarky quips that we've heard a hundred times before, from folks just like you who demonstrate they don't have clue one, as to what reformed theology teaches. There's a word for what you're using this page for, and frankly, most men do that in private. So I suggest you follow their lead. Then, when you're "done", pick up Bondage of the Will or the Death of Death in the Death of Christ and learn something about the covenant of redemption and Christ's role as High Priest ministering on behalf of His people. If you think you don't need to because you've already got it all figured out, then I suggest you go out and purchase some good strong underwear to hold up the titanium equipment you're apparently carrying. Goodness gracious...
@bobwood5146Ай бұрын
Goodness I see you are so confused concerning the doctrines of Grace. If you have a heart and desire for salvation and a heart and desire for knowing and understanding God that in itself is proof that God has chosen you. It is the person who does not see any personal guilt spiritual guilt that will spend eternity in hell. Calvinism does not teach preordained reprobate minds. It teaches that "all die in Adam and that Christ [the last Adam] those who believe the gospel are saved. Do you believe the gospel? It is that simple > Do you believe that you are a sinner and that your only hope is Christ dying for "your on personal sins"? If you believe that it is only because God has supernaturally opened your eyes to that fact your . When your eyes were opened you were saved by Him. You didn't save yourself--His opening your eyes is what caused you to become a believer. Before He touched you you were lost and now you have been found--you were blind and now you see. You didn't know you were lost and blind until the Holy Spirit open your spiritually dead self and saved you by giving you the gift of faith---NOW you see and now you know and now you believe
@mikelyons2831Ай бұрын
@@bobwood5146 Thank you for sharing that & your concern for my soul. I am trying to provoke thought with those that have succumbed to Calvinism. In Reformed Theology, those not pre-chosen in eternity past do not get any grace, mercy or hope of salvation. So calling it "The doctrines of Grace" is a mischaratorization of the true gospel. Please don't refer rain & sunshine on my face & our crops as some kind of SAVING GRACE... that is another Calvinistic ruse. Calvinism/Reformed Theology is far from scripture.
