As someone from the US, I really loved watching 6teen. The show is Canadian and it didn't aire in the US (as far as I know), so I ended up hearing about it when I saw DVDs of it at Family Video for sale. So I was able to by a good amount of episodes of that show on DVD.

The only kids show I actually liked was from PBS kids called "Wild Krats" and there would be 2 main characters and like 2 villians depending on what episode trying to take animals. But the wild krats would also teach you about the animals!

Cyberchase fell off so hard when they switched the animation style and started adding environmental themes into the show. I stumbled on the show around a year ago and it's crazy how slow-paced the newer episodes are, like they're running out of things to write about. RIP to Gilbert Gottfried who was the voice of Digit. He sounded like he was on his last leg in the latest episodes.

I was a PBS kid and who also owned SpongeBob dvds of the early season so I was living it up. Wild Kratts, Fetch with Ruff Ruffman, and Thomas the Tank Engine were favorites I watched on PBS.

Thomas was my favorite show on PBS Kids. As someone who born in 2008 and living in NYC for 8 years before moving to Florida in July of 2018 (around the same time I got into TheOdd1sOut actually), I had a fascination with trains. And I loved everything from the show, from the Getting Ready sequence that played before the later model series episodes that I only caught on TV a few times, to the letter from the Rev. Wilbert Awdry to his son, Christopher reading out before every episode: "Dear Christopher, Here is your friend, Thomas The Tank Engine. He wanted to come out of the station yard and see the world. These stories tell you how he did it. - Your loving Daddy." From Michael Brandon's narrating voice feeling so butter smooth to me as a kid, to the visuals, it's safe to say I was a fan. As a kid who grew up in the early 2010s (wow, that's weird to say), the timing of the Thomas eras airing on PBS was perfect for me. Starting out watching the Nitrogen Era, or early CGI seasons of Thomas at the age of like 3 (as well as maybe a couple of rare glimpses of Seasons 11 and 12) with formulaic writing about the characters, mainly Thomas, needing to learn to not be so oblivious and mess up every episode. Then, when you're around 7 and might start to get tired of that, the Brenner Era starts airing with Season 17, with better writing and character personalities, so you're still hooked for a bit longer, until you stop watching TV altogether when you move to Florida in 2018, not even knowing about BWBA until 2019, by that time not even watching TV anymore cus, just couldn't be bothered with new airing times. So yeah. At first, my experience with Thomas was the opposite of a lot of Classic fans, who stopped watching the show with the premiere of Season 8, with some fans probably not watching Seasons 7 or even 6 with how clear the show was declining in quality with those 2 seasons. In my experience, Season 17 was unlike the seasons prior, so I was hooked for even longer. However, even if I had kept watching TV past 2018, I probably would've stopped watching Thomas anyways with the premiere of Season 22 because of how stupid it became, just like with Season 8 back in 2004, except much worse. So yeah. Just wanted to share my experience with Thomas, since I haven't had anyone else to tell it to. Now you know what Thomas was like for someone growing up in the early 2010s. (Still can't believe I'm saying that, is this what it feels like to get older?)

When I was younger I didn’t really like cable because sometimes there would be really boring thing on or stuff in different languages for example the only things on TV were football matches (I wasn’t really a football person even tho my dad played football) and Spanish channels that I couldn’t understand at the time. So I would just sit there and be like “Where’s the Peppa pig channel?” then I checked and found out that I couldn’t watch Peppa pig for the next 1-2 hours and had to entertain my self another way. But still I was grateful to have something to watch ( no I wasn’t I actually hated it and almost started swearing especially when adds were playing) OH I remember PBS kids I watched it a lot when I was young I think my parents got cable when I was about 5
