I am actually so glad that mhy didn't make traveller fight in Ei's place. It was her battle and she fought it. Plus, it really shows that Ei was ready to face and solve consequences of her own actions

Fun fact: If you have Raiden Shogun in your team, you'll use your own character in the fight, with the artifacts and weapon you builded her. That's the first time where the quest doesn't replace your character with the Trial version.

I think it depends on character levels usually. Not sure about this quest specifically, but other quests will give you a trial character only if your character’s level is less than the trial version.

@@Eenkin Hmmm probably was that occasion. I did Zhongli Story Quest Act 2 with a Lv. 80 Zhongli and the Quest replaced mine with a Lv 83 Zhongli equipped with a Vortex Vanquisher

She's pretty easy to be honest(comparing to Azhdaha) if you get all her moves. Just a little time consuming during her 2nd phase when you have to break her shield down which you have to use cryo or pyro, but I do recommend cryo. Pyro can break her shield and at the same time take down her hp a little as well, due to overload reaction, but cryo can break shield faster. Edit: This is weekly boss guide. Not the quest one.

This was so fun, phase 2 I was low health and full I was just running away waiting to eat to heal. When I got hit and realized you can't die in the story fight? I went ham on her. Was right and happy to be excited for her. I went back in in coop as soon as I finished the quest lol

I find this boss difficulty just right. Just get cryo and pyro shield breakers get a shield for insurance and finally emphasis: DODGE!

Why dodge, by just running Zhongli and Qiqi I don’t even need to move or attack, I just wait for the boss to attack me and I let Qiqi overheals do damage and Zhongli shield is enough to block all the attacks. I think it would be even more op if I go stock up for Kokomi and build her for overheals as well.

@@1mol831 Every hit increases fury. Makes things easier, so if you don't want her going Azur Lane on you, try to dodge. I use Zhongli, Ei, Benett and Xiangling. Zhongli for insurance, Ei as Carry, Bennett and Xiangling as shield breakers.

I love that the boss is aggressive in attacking. But it's too easy with crack teams and of course zhongli. As long as you charge the ball with electro, your active character is safe from that one shot one kill 🤣

I can tell my hypotesis. It went longer than it should've. I think they should've ended the quest right when Ei ejects us from the realm, leaving us with the dread of her having to fight until the next story quest. They should've stretched her arc at least one more quest, making see the build up to her climax , and how much she has changed since last time.

You need one electro (for phase2 to charge a shield from the huge slash), and The rest of the party character (Dps, Subdps, Healer/Shield) must have the element of either cyro or pyro against electro shield of phase 2. Bennett, Zhongli, Ei and any dps you want is the best recommend in co-op/solo. Good luck !!

Guys shields still help for all of of her attacks i just dont reccomend using a shield when her most powerful attack begins when it tells u to generate a shield to be protected. When i say this i mean casting a shield from a shield character but u didnt generate the shield in time. She will freeze u and one shot u while ur one shield so i dont reccommed using the shield

Idk why this boss its Easy except your fighting the non story, that literally make a bit harder cause the electro shield ( well we cant see the shield but theres an indicator below the hp bar) when you broke the shield it literally stuns the shogun for maybe 10 or 15 seconds and you have a LOT of time to set up maybe for showcase or just attacking it normally. Overall i like the new boss its Fun WAY more fun then Azdaha xd
