A strangely ignored actor, Billy Crudup. He's handsome, he's a great actor, but he's just not huge for some reason. It's a mystery

the man is a legend in the New York theater world. I think he has it great. He gets to act in plays and the occasional TV or film without being hounded by the paps or pestered by fans. It's the best of both worlds.

He’d have been perfect in those crappy 2000s films. He or Hugh Jackman, as he almost was cast in the role, would’ve been a whole lot better than the one guy from those films.

Acting requires being familiar with the tools of your craft. Otherwise you crash and burn and run into situations such as Billy Crudup just described.

Very true , actors like Robert de niro or Bradley Cooper wouldn't have struggled with that scene at all due to their dedication to the craft

Try some acting lessons. A Stanislavskian objective might have helped you there, son.

Chambers4kills I've seen plenty of interviews with actors who said that sometimes it doesn't show up... Natalie Portman, George Clooney, Patrick Wilson.... it happens. You just have to be as prepared as possible and then just be in the moment.

Fuck! Four years of drama training and I could have just watched KZbin! What was I thinking?! Thanks for the advice. Discussing acting with performing arts dilettantes like you is like teaching rocket science to someone with an extra chromosome.

Chambers4kills Actually you incredibly cliched pretentious snob. I am a trained actor and studied the Meisner technique at conservatory for a couple years. Upon graduating I have been pursuing my professional acting career in Hollywood, CA. I have been a company member in two reputable theater companies where I've tackled everything from Anton Chekhov to Moliere. I have been cast in indie films that have received international distribution and US Redbox release for one and another film is available for download as well as on DVD to order through Amazon, Best Buy, target Walmart online retailers.I have two films currently in post production and I just turned down an offer for a play yesterday. My talent manager is a well known movie producer who is represented by William Morris Endeavor. I've worked with Emmy Winners and many actors that are currently working on tv and films today. I speak four languages English, ASL, Spanish and French. I'm also a professional ASL interpreter. ( That's American Sign Language for those who are uninitiated) I'm an amateur musician singer/songwriter.. I have a black belt in karate, I fought kickboxing for 2 years, I was a level 8 power tumbler and for fun I studied playwriting at a local community college. My experience, training and resume make me confident enough to assert that I know what I'm talking about. Why is that? Because I've been in front of a camera where I've had to break down emotionally... I've had to do it take after take after take. And I did it each time. You know it's a good thing your open to learning from KZbin... because you just got schooled.

The fact that you end the word 'theatre' with 'er' tells me all I need to know about your cv. U.S, performing arts 101, at its best.
