Yeah, its wonderful. My wife is the only one that knows all my shit, and there´s alot. Just having a person that you can really be vunerable with, and let them into your soul.. when they also do that to you, there is no better feeling.. (except perhaps the son we´re having in december :) )

@@CheerfullyCynical829 Well she admitted till the time he dumped her he directly admitted he was casually dating other people and the reason he broke up with her was because he realized and was intimidated by the fact that she was way more serious and into him than he was with her and didn't feel right about them being together. But he missed her company and made it work and married her for her happiness.

I think every guy will attempt to get you back but they may not necessarily put in the work. They don’t fight for you to come back .. there’s a huge difference.. For her to be to hurt about it & him have a conversation though she probably knew in her heart mind and soul that he was hers .. you don’t just randomly fall in love with someone a month into it unless it’s real (or youre crazy but that’s a different take lol) he probably realised she’s one of the best options he’s dating then when she left he was like hang on a minute she’s actually wife material not just “the best dating option”

Take note boys. Even though he broke her heart at least he was honest. My ex wanted the freedom but also wanted me being in love and devoted, so he was half-assed with me for over a year and proabaly cheating, then ended up dumping me after all of it anyways cause he knew deep down how badly he was treating me and that i deserved better. Yes, I should have ended things way early on, but i was young and naive and in love like kristen describes, and its so true about the bad boy complex. If you want freedom and want to be a bad boy then fine, but at least be honest about it. At least Dax was honest from the start

They can go ahead and be young and make the mistake for themselves if they like. Sometimes people need to make mistakes for themselves to gain wisdom. But this person is just offering that wisdom in case those young people want to get that wisdom the easy way.

He knew. Sometimes when people understand that fact about their relationship, it scares the daylight out of them. They ‘know’ it won’t last. They believe that sooner or later the partner will also realize this and leave. So they cut and run before investing all that time, energy, and heart into something that can devastate them. But once in a while, things actually workout just fine.

Yeah, that seems about right. Though, I guess in the dating stage, I kind of assume the possibility. Its dating, not a relationship. If I make it to date three and I recognize I might be catching feelings there's no reason to not bring it up and say, "here we are on date three. I really like you. What's the state of the union?" That's... actually really good advice from a therapist for once, but delivery is just as important as the words she used. There's a fine line between having backbone and trying to assert dominance - if she had yelled at him like "ASK ME LIKE A LADY!" like most women do these days, he would've likely thought "Okay I definitely made the right call the first time"
