The scene where Kevin is having a ball in the empty office and no one cares lol. This is scarily similar to how many businesses have people so burned out and oblivious to day to day life they don’t even care or notice when a separate office has been taken over. We had our VP of R & D retire two years back and leave a huge corner office open that we now “lend” to visiting consultants. Most of the year it’s totally empty, and I now do nearly everything in their from take breaks, sleep, avoid work, or just doodle and stretch for hours at a time. People are amazing how they won’t even open a door to an “important area” for fear of non conformance. It’s true, and it happens. Excellent insight into actual corporate America.
