God is so good. He is so patient, gracious and loving. God has healed me of cPTSD and alcoholism. I'm 32 and was an a highly functional alcoholic for 15 years. He asked me to repent for the things I was doing in my life that displeased Him, which I believed were medicating the pain I felt but were killing me physically and spiritually (marijuana, fornication, alcohol). When He told me to repent, I sensed that if I would, He would heal me. I trusted Him and He has completely delivered me. Talk to God. Give Him your heart. He is eager to show Himself to you, to love you, to heal you and to be your Lord. He loves you and has seen every moment of your life, every tear and every chuckle. If you doubt, just tell Him! Say, "Jesus, I don't know if You're real, but if You are, please show me". He will do it! Our God is not a man that He should lie, but He indeed IS the word! (And that will make sense to you someday if it doesn't yet!). He created You for HIS pleasure. He loves you more than you understand. God bless you 🕊️♥️🙏

Amazing story… I’m a former convict who serve a 13 yrs prison term in California… many yrs… I knew prison isolation and violence did something to me… I’ll hear about PTSD but I will associated with ppl that been in combat.. never thought it can’t relate to me (former convict) till one day I had a conversation with a friend of mine who was also a convict.. I asked him if he shuts down.. or feels angry out of no where? If he will feel lost and always on guard for danger.. his response was … we have PTSD.. and he said to me.. he overdose but not by accident… my response was “I understand “ cus I’ve had suicidal thoughts while I was serving my prison term.. but I could not do it.. the thought of my wife and mother.. kept me going… but now I’m loosing my family… cus I couldn’t control my feelings.. I couldn’t control those nightmares of prison yard violence, suicides and isolation.. but I have faith God will heal me.. I NOW know is PTSD that has hold me bk.. now I’m going to do the work to heal and start a men ministry for help.. so I can recover my beautiful family.. these testimonies help and provide courage to those in need or those that need to be aware of this illness.. there’s still chance for a loving positive life. 🙏

I’m currently struggling with something very similar to what u are experiencing this biggest thing is to not lose faith a huge part of that is not letting fear control ur life. I worked on my profession (laboratory technologist) in Role 3 TraumaHospital in Kandahar in the summer to fall roto of 2009. We saw a spike in terrorism ( numerous rocket attacks) traumas diseases & an outbreak of H1N1& a case outbreak of Crimean Congo Haemorrhagic fever to which many of us in the laboratory were exposed. We had IED wounded, VIED wounded, gun shot wounded and stabbings. I and many of my coworkers were exposed to medical horror & many of us have PTSD. I came home unable to make proper choices from an area of narrow availability to too broad availabilities & unable to fit in, believing that I should stay with the people who I worked with & not go back to my family. I divorced in 2010& lost my boys & my home. I am slowly coming back into life. I have different eyes now. I have to rely on Christ alone on a daily basis. I’m not saying everything is happy ever after, because the results of my choices forever stare me in the face. I can’t change it & G~d won’t. Would that I had died in Kandahar and came home boxed but with honours. But up until His Coming we work towards the prize that is in Christ Jesus. Pray please for me & my fractured family. 22 veterans die daily from suicide. That’s a hard ugly fact.

My husband has ptsp, he is alcoholic, he talks to himself. He doesn't talk to me much and when he does says mean things, like I'm the worst person in the world. He curses and everything bothers him, you walk on egg shels around him. The worst thing is that we have a little boy on autism spectrum and it is geting even worse with his ptsd. I need his help with ouer son and he is just making me so upset that i cant even take care of ouer son the right way. I am so tired, sad and so angry. I feel like i am in hell and there is no way out. I am a christian for 4 years now and he is a catholic. Me coming to Christ and not to catholic religion made it so bad for me at home. He is angry at my christian life. He doesn't think he needs salvation or to change his life stayle. He thinks God is ok with all that he does. I hope for a miricle, because i dont know how much more i can take. I am worried about my health, the stress is just to much. I pray God saves my husband, my son and my marrige in Jesus name.

One time I put a extension wire around my neck and was about to jump off a bucket and I heard my mom open the basement door and call me and I stopped and went upstairs to ask her why she called me and she said she never did...! I remember as a 6-7 year old my teacher lead me to Jesus and Jesus was looking over me like a faithful friend who stick closer then a brother.....I was born in Sikhism which came out of Hinduism and it’s all formalities and robotic rituals that are not form God and will never give you the Love and Joy of God

Someone said when you get to the end of yourself, that's when you come to Jesus. My husband is having an episode that's last over a year now. He filed for divorce while triggered. It's all my fault, he sees me as a threat. God is doing something in him. God is going to heal him and bring him to the Lord in faith. He gave his heart to the Lord but he never surrendered himself to the Lord. I pray for my husband of 29 years everyday. I believe in faith God will bring miraculous, spirit led healing to him. Amen! I think with trauma, especially in childhood they learn to disassociate and stuff their pain for years but at some point they can't stuff it or run from it any longer, it catches up.

Jesus is not merely a prophet. Yes, he walked as a man, but his time on earth spent in human form doesn’t not separate him from his divinity. He is the living son of God. He is God. Three in one. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is only one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ, not Muhammad or Buddha, who were merely men, not God. There is no way to “transcend” this mortal condition in the sense of “ego death,” without repentance and reconciliation through Christ. Only then can one die to “self” and be born again through a process of rapid inner transformation. Jesus Christ delivered me from schizophrenia, demonic possession, complex PTSD, severe depression, OCD, BPD, and a whole litany of mental illnesses. Six months ago, I couldn’t even read a book. Didn’t have the cognitive abilities to retain information and comprehend what was on the page. But God is restoring me day by day to his intended form. My entire family is transforming before my eyes. Grandparents set free from generational curses and conditioning. Only the name of Jesus has the power to make devils flee. I pray that you have a true encounter with the one true living God wherever you are, may you experience the fullness and freedom and transformation in Jesus name and come to know him personally as a father, a friend, a savior.
