My dad was abusive, beating us kids way to much , cutting the blood out of us with a belt, I managed to get a set of weights at 13 , my plan was to get strong enough to beat my dad, at about 16 I was very strong, I grabbed my dad to hit him, instead I hugged him, which surprised me, I told him from now on we are huggers if you don't hug me and tell me you love me I will take you out back. Unknown to me my dad was convicted by the lord for failing his children, my dad came home one night and went to the basement to the coal room and prayed ,not long after I got saved. Life was never easy , but at 67 I preach on the streets and in nursing homes and am thankful for a loving God

the world took god's son as well, at the end of the day, god turned something bad into something good. i know that father would love to be holding his son right now, but without knowing the lord, his soul would be in eopardy. and his son is in good hands, now the father can spend the rest of his life serving the lord and his family and then come to spend eternity with his baby boy and the most high god.
