In fact, there were more civilians casualties on his watch than his past two predecessors put together . So much, his administration weakened a rule that required reporting on it. Low inflation/ gas was due in part to the fact that 90% of the country was unemployed due to his complete mishandling of Covid . He managed to crash a surging economy and job market in a span 1.5 yr into his presidency . Our workforce, healthcare, crime rate were in complete shambles in his 4 yrs in office. Many of the communities that are being gentrified right now with people being displaced from their homes are areas that the gov’t labeled “opportunity zones”, allowing the wealthy to exploit these communities for tax breaks. The security guard at the gate told him not to bother unless he spoke Spanish because the foremen only spoke Spanish and they only hired Spanish speaking workers for that reason. My son had Spanish in high school, but wasn't fluent enough to speak it in a factory setting. Speaking Spanish shouldn't be a requirement for a job in the US. We lived not far from Mexican town in southwest Detroit and on the bus route from there. It's ok though because they were paying them $6 an hour and the factory about a couple miles farther down was paying $15 an hour for the same job. Both companies did the same type of work with the difference being English vs Spanish. That Spanish speaking place was shut down about a year later due to OSHA violations.
