Wow!! That is the first time that I have seen that one.I cant even begin to think of WHY that would be in there....lol....

I can't believe that was in the tank! I mean, did it fall in the tank and they couldn't figure out how to get it out? lol! blow my mind!
@lowellstokes53283 жыл бұрын
I can. Some lazy repair man had trouble pulling it out on the first replacement & said “nah, they’ll never even notice, screw it, I’ll leave it there”.
@TheOffRoadCorner3 жыл бұрын
I could that happening. Some mechanics don’t give a damn about other peoples vehicles

Damn, this was a great video. TWO fuel pumps for the price of one!!! learned how to syphon gas AND what resistance to test for and test the system to make sure everything else works. You're my hero today!

Nice prop to explain how things work. Next time I have to work on the fuel pump or filter I'm cutting an access hole in the floor. Same thing for rear upper shock bolts.

Great vid, thanks. I bet installing fuel pumps from the factory is automated, and the machine just pumped two in there! I just bought my XJ a few weeks ago and fuel gauge/sending unit took a dump.

Thanks. Weirdest thing if ever come across in my life lol. Thanks for watching

That is shear crazy! I had to cut the j hooks on mine since they were too rusted. The replacement bolts are about $30 ea so I got turnbuckles from ACE for $5.50 ea

I'm going to be replacing mine soon since my gas gauge is either not working or gives me inaccurate info. Is the pump still working? Heard the quality is not good and doesn't last long.

Haha! That's some fuel pump-ception right there. How does that even happen?
@TheOffRoadCorner5 жыл бұрын
Haha Jon Hart. I have no idea how this would happen lol!! Whoever put it in there had to force the flange of the fuel pump module through the hole in the tank. Maybe it was push in by accident and they couldn’t get it out? I have no idea haha

When your gas gauge didn’t work, how many miles could you go on a full tank not knowing how much gas you had?
@TheOffRoadCorner5 жыл бұрын
I would do about 175 miles to a tank
