I started crying when they formed Neil on his motorcycle.

You know you have created and executed a brilliant halftime show when you make a 50 year old man laugh, cry, and clap in the span of 5 minutes while watching it on video. I would have been an emotional wreck if I had been there in person. Congratulations on this achievement, Ohio State University Marching Band. Just brilliant.

I am the same age, and I was coming unglued as I watched this. Rush was my one of my very first "favorite bands" before I was 10 years old (along with Queen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Pink Floyd), and if I was there to see this in person, my internal collisions of enthusiasm and astonishment would have become an external embarrassment for my wife. This was so well done, whoever was behind it needs deserves a tremendous amount of appreciation and credit.

I believe I would rather sit for hours watching and listening to this rather then a football game. But then again I am a child of the 60s and 70s and grew up with rush.
@elianad2083 Жыл бұрын
The people who were in the crowd are quite young and probably knew nothing about Rush..but they still clapped. I keep coming back to this. Just the emotions I feel.. sadness, joy, wonder..and most of all dumbfounded and blown away. Dang..how do they do this? Beyond words..

I saw Rush a few times and almost didn’t go to the R40 show because it was a 3 1/2 hour ride away but ended up deciding last minute to go. So glad I did cause who knew it was gonna be the last time we’d see Neil. God bless Rush and God bless this marching band, particularly the percussionists, cause those songs are no easy feat to play.

This marching band is incredibly talented. Imagine the hours spent learning their routines. Being from Michigan, I've seen Rush a half dozen times and they should be proud to be represented by the OSU (refuse to say THE) Marching Band.
