The jasper excited me! It’s gorgeous. Was hoping that the petrified wood was going to be loads better. Yes, on a crystal hunt. That rosé quartz is pretty & the agates are beautiful.

15:16 /18:00 - That's so interesting, I'm from Saxony, Germany, and we got pieces of jasper like this all over and I'm not een getting too excited about them any more - but I'd absolutely freak out if I found a septarian nodule or such a nice crystaly piece of calcite like you have! :D

Too bad about the toe. I feel your pain. Glad to see you out rockhounding... Always enjoy watching you hunt... You've got me rockhounding now and I have some rocks😂 Now what to do, join a club? Yes! I've also got my nephew interested, he's 12... We're going to have a ball for spring break. Thanks for everything Theo... You've helped my life. Sounds strange, but I had to say it. Thanks!

Wow! You did have a good day out there! What a great haul! And anytime you can find a big old concretion with ammonites, and clams and other wonderful things in them, it's a very good day indeed! But the pet wood being black inside was kind of a disappointment. And the half an ammonite was kind of disappointing but still, half an ammonite is better then no ammonites! I think it looks great just as it is and it has a built in stand! And you got some beautiful jasper and a big chunk of agate! It was a great day! Oh and a stromatolite! Who could ask for more than that!?! Thanks for the wonderful video and you and Alexis drive carefully and have a fantastic trip! ❤ Oh yeah, hunting a whole video about hunting calcite crystals would be awesome! Thanks Theo!

Bro! Looked like a great day! Can you do some still shots of rocks with lots of details like that brecciated plume? I dunno, but I feel like a good macro still gives more of the fine details than a video can

Hey Theo. My husband and I are both retired and we are heading to Montana to pick on the Yellowhead this summer. If we come at the beginning of July, is that usually a decent time? I’m just a bit uncertain about water levels etc. so I want to get my timing right.

Nice hunt, those rockhounds that search out actively hunting rocks have to take care of our health. It is maintaining our equipment! 😅

"pulls phone screen closer to face" when you pick up a rock and brings it closer to the camera as if that helps me see details better lol
