Grandpa Robert was in a rare mood this video...I can see why you and Cody turned out so good with a man like him around. He had me cracking up and this is one of my favorite videos as a result. I love the project house videos. I just took the extension cord my hubby was using as a rope when he was putting tar around the chimney and repurposed it to plug in the stock tank heater. Imagine that. Your new old tractor is really cool. Love the minute history videos too. Aiken was nice to give you that book. Very interesting videos altogether.

I'm so glad to be along for the restoration of this old house! I lived in a 1905 house that had a back porch become a bathroom, then they turned it into a laundry room and moved the bathroom into the kitchen pantry. It was sad not to have a pantry, but there was such limited square footage in that place.

WOW!!!! I sure could use Robert II's help here with my roof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What he is doing by sitting on the top of the roof is what I have to do to clear my garage roof (mind you I'm 75) I have a patio roof cover from house to garage so it just piles up there. It got to a point where it is causing some problems. I like tin roofs - especially in the rain. Green and silver are my favs.

May I say, when you are pulling a trailer you want your gate far enough up so that your vehicle and trailer are off the road. Who ever put our gate in didn't think of that and we have to redo in time. We kind of bought a mess too. God bless 💖. It's just a suggestion. Have a great day.

Hi, other Robert, I like your goggles. First Robert, thanks for the information about the tin roof ages. I thought the newer, thin stuff was older. I read that people would paint the tin roofs partly to protect the tin. These are iron bases with tin overlay, I read. Another thing: Your BLUEBERRY bushes either need to be moved closer together or you should put in another couple of bushes for pollination. I've bought 4 different types for placement in half-barrels (for gopher protection). The sources recommend planting between 3 and 6 feet for pollination purposes. Mine are mostly the southern highbush type. Good luck with yours. I think blueberries are bird feeders in disguise. I also read that they make great hedges.

Your wonderful Byrd project is so uplifting to me. I am always checking to see what your up to on the property. Some heavy tarps will do your roof well for the winter, just do a section at a time in roofing it. That is what we had to do on our old place out of lack of money to it all at once.
