Hallo old mechanic, erg nuttige filmpjes en ik heb ook de uitleesappartuur aangeschaft om dit allemaal te doen. Ook f800gs. Nu heb ik onlangs een ABS storing (abs lamp blijft branden) gekregen en de fout uitgelezen. Hij geeft ABS: coderingsstoring 63C0.. Maar ik kan nergens (online) vinden wat er dan aan de hand is en hoe op te lossen. Weet u hoe ik dat kan vinden? Of kunt u mij daarbij helpen? Bvd. Vr gr Gerrit.

I have sculptured the end of a length of timber about 600mm in length to place over the brake pedal and can be pressed onto the brake pedal and released from the same side as the brake caliper ie left arm across the seat right hand on spanner; avoids gymnastics which at my age are neither contemplated or achievable.

Have you ever used Speed Bleeders on your motorcycles? I have and they are great! They really make it easy to do brake flushing or bleeding very quickly, especially when you have a caliper that's hard to reach. I highly recommend them. Thanks for the video!!

man, I dont have the money to be spending a bunch on a license and reader to bleed abs system, and I especially dont have the money to be going to the dealership. Is it absolutely necessary to do the abs bleed or is there any way to do it manually without the app?

You can change the beake fluid without using the app, but its better to use the app and activate your ABS module 😉

Goedemiddag old mechanic. Ik heb net uw reeks video’s over de f800gs, hoofdstuk remvloeistof beken. Ik wil over een maand een rit maken van 4500 km. 1.5 jaar geleden is de remvloeistof in het gehele systeem ververst bij motoport (vorige eigenaar). De bmw manual zegt elke 2 jaar.. Wat adviseert u mij? Remmen krijgen het wel zwaar in de bergen. Ik beschik nog niet over het scan materiaal. De remvloeistof ziet er in ieder geval bij mij niet zo slecht uit als in uw video. @@TheOldMechanic volgens mij heb ik een andere diagnostic connector. De kabel die u heeft achtergelaten in de beschrijving is voor bmw motoren tot 2016. Mijn 800gs is van 2017. Ik heb niet de ronde stekker.

Watch the video. The abs system has a reservoir of fluid and the front and rear brakes are independent.
