Wow this brings back memories when I was in the Air Force. 4 times a day I would take the elevator down 5 to 10 stories underground to the capsule crew and deliver there meals. The Missle sites were called Launch Control Facilities and there were 20 of them dotted across Montana. Most of the time we would drive to the sites and it would make for a long day traveling. On a rare occasion we the crew would take a helicopter to the furthest sites out from the base. I will never forget seeing the 2 keys that if turned at the same time by the 2 lcf officers, would unleash hell on earth. I served at all 20 sites from 1987 to 1991.

I used to be a FedEx driver in Wyoming, Montana, and western south Dakota. Ppl are literally living in silos. They sold off the old minute man silos. Pretty cool. Really

My husband and I have lived in AZ our whole lives, it’s definitely hot here day and night, but we love our state and I do have to admit that we have some of the most beautiful sunsets ever! Although we have been experiencing a lot of fires or areas that have recently been on fire in most of Arizona at the moment it is a place full of history and haunts in just about every town or city you visit.
