Love the new, NH. If one of the blades on your mower hits a rock & snaps it will be a missile that (cab or no cab) could injure you or your dad. Even stones flying up could break one of your new windows. Some tin or board on the top & some sort of skirt might save you some money or a trip to hospital. Take care!

Good tractor, the T6000 are a good all round tractor. One question I have is, why do most cockies buy tractors with quick release loaders and never take them off when they don’t need them on? All this does is wear out pins and bushes in the loader arms and put more stress on the front axle. Save yourselves the $$$ on premature wear and maintenance and get longer service from your investment. Just an observation, not having a go at you, love your video’s keep it up.
@TheOnceADayFarmer3 жыл бұрын
Nah that’s a fair point, I couldn’t take it off because it didn’t come with the loader stands, I need to buy some.
@brenttonks42493 жыл бұрын
@@TheOnceADayFarmer My clients probably thought I had two heads when I was hay contracting, because I would turn up to a job with the loader on, then take it off in the corner of the paddock. I would do whatever I had to, mow, rake or bale, then put the loader back on and do the loader work. The end result being that when I sold the tractor, the loader was still tight and during the time I had the tractor, I never had to do work on the front axle of any sort. But each to their own I guess.
@brenttonks42493 жыл бұрын
Forgot to mention the way better visibility without the loader on also.

Before you sell ya self on a Sam would pay to check out a tow n fert or similar as people seem to be saying pretty good things about them. But anyway the flexibility of putting your own with anything would be better all round. Also you may want to think about skirts and top for that mower as well.

A trailed spreader is a valuable bit of equipment. Especially so close to the fert depot. We are 4 km from ours and sometimes will visit 2 or 3 times a day. We've got a T6020 and a T6040 and both easily operate the 6 ton spreader, it is a flat farm but the T6030 is a 6 cylinder so will have no problem on your rolling country. Ok, so the JD hat in the last video was a bit of a smoke screen but I was still right. I have a T6070 with the same hours, try swapping the gas struts on the door over if the right one is still good, no one ever opens that side. Ive been hunting for a dicky seat for mine as well but im too tight to buy a new one. If I could post a pic on here i'd show you but I painted my rims black and the blue with navy blue and put a stainless straight pipe on. Oh and that screen over the sunroof is meant to be a sun visor for the windscreen, they should have a sliding screen with the same fabric as the roof that slides and covers over the sunroof. But enjoy, you'll be spending more time behind the wheel now for sure. Can't beat an older Aitchison drill for value for money but the duncans are good for sure. I forgot what else you talked about so I will end my ramble now

Love the enthusiasm Andrew, Talk about a kid with a new toy. Did Jacinda give you a tax break on the purchase or is it only available on the purchase of new equipment. Hey what is the broad leaf plant in your pasture? Is it a weed or nutrition . Hope the milk price remains up there so you can fund some more capital equipment. The tractor fleet is growing just like sugar cane farmers in our region of North Queensland. When they purchase a new tractor they NEVER get rid of the old one
@reubensterling63783 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, that weed looked like a dock, cows will eat it if the leaf is young but its a prick of a thing this time of year as when it goes to seed, bloody hard to get rid of too. And the only thing Jacinda is giving farmers is the middle finger... shes def not about supporting the rural industry

The blue matches your overalls, it could be your Farm Colour. Being a woman I'm not too good with all the technical aspects of machines, but all in my head when you talked about your dreams for next year, was you farm but as a theme parks we have in England called "DiggerLand" Basically its a theme park just full of tractors and diggers and there or mini scale JCB and you drive them. Dig, scope and just play. Should google some images. It's always wonderful when you get something new to you. Personal you don't always have to get the brand new item etc just to keep up with 'The Jones' Family' no point in getting into extra debt just to get the newest and biggest on the block. When you get something brand new especially a vehicle you don't use it to its full potential as your worried it get knocked, damaged broken. Well that's what I noticed within my family and friends. Enjoy your new ride, has She got a Name yet?? Maybe you could open up a suggestion poll for your viewers to vote or suggest a name for her

That mower looks a bit fast. A Lely T mower would need a 1:1 1st gearbox (one input turn to one output turn) to run on 1000 .. if you’ve got a 1:2 (one input turn to 2 output ) 1st gearbox it’s 540. The drop gearbox is a 1:3 meaning if your on 1000 and you should be on 540 your discs are doing 6000rpm when they should be doing 3000rpm
