Hey Alison! I absolutely love your channel and all of you content! I'm 33 and JUST started to play the violin 1 month ago! I m loving every minute of it and love being able to have your content as a "question outlet" since I only have lessons once a week. Fun fact, my teacher watches your videos like I do so it's so fun to be able to learn from her and also implement comments and advice that you give. I live in Tennessee and I am always working during your LIVE videos, but wanted to ask 2 questions and see if you will get it for a video! 1. What are your thoughts on seeing the violin more and more in the mainstream, for example, Lindsey Stirling? 2. I have a very hard time reach my G string with my fingers, anything I can do to assist this? I hold the violin like you do with pad of thumb. I have never played an instrument in my life and a combo of you and Lindsey are what got me to try the violin, and I am so glad I did! I hope to be able to catch a LIVE video and participate live with you one day soon! Thank you for the inspiration and look forward to learning more! The question with the cracks there not cracks exactly more like you took a pen and drew on a piece of paper little short lines , so there not cracks but they look like them . If this makes any sense.
