The Deku Palace was already in my top 5 for songs in Majora's Mask. Definitely an artful interpretation. Brings a good sense of royalty and prestige to the dekuscrub people. And the monkey... The violin work vaguely made me think of The Witcher 3 (probably since that was the last major violin piece I heard this year) which in turn brings about thoughts of a society that is a bit brutal and tough on outsiders.

I just love how this one starts off so cheerful and then at the 1:51 mark it descends into this adventurous theme, mixed with somewhat of a feeling of dread, as if you're in a race against the clock again, reminiscent of the entire game's looming dread above.

I mean, at this point it's worth saying that it's more than a simple remix, like it's a complete reinterpretation of the song in a way that it has nothing to be ashamed of in comparison with the original, but it doesn't really fit in the game though, it more like contemporary music with a lot of game history being shared

I'm seeing Deku dancers dancing intensely around a fire in celebration, preparing for their dark sacrifice, while link has to sneak around the Deku castle using the Dekus jubilations as distraction while he infiltrates.

I really like the Deku of Majora’s Mask because on the surface, they are so bright, cheerful, and happy and the music reflects that. However the Deku Butler shows the opposite of that happy culture in the end credits scene when we see him completely broken up about his son. It gives me a chill whenever I think of it. One of the most under appreciated segments of every zelda game: Music. I love listening to Zelda soundtracks, and I love hearing people adapt them to bigger and more bombastic orchestral pieces. This is awesome.

I wouldn't be quick to call music one of zelda's most under appreciated aspects. It certainly deserves as much world-wide praise as say, Toby Fox's work or c418

The first sign that something was deeply wrong with me, was when I would just stand in the throne room for several minutes watching in fascination as the monkey was dipped into a boiling cauldron over and over. :)

Holy moly on my second remix now from Theophany now. Just too epic hot damn. I had forgotten this was the zelda I wanted to imagine roleplaying when I was a kid, but the games never went hard enough. The primality of these tunes have finally fulfilled that expectation so many years later.

Not going to lie, but if they made the Zelda franchize an animated side series similar to Pokemon Generations featuring different events throughout all the games I could see one of those episodes being Link and Tatl facing Odolwa while the Deku Princess is in a cell of vines looking on with cut aways to the Deku Palace preparing to get the culdran and Dunk the Monkey. All with this song as the music behind it.
