This electronics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into LEDs also known as light emitting diodes. It discusses the polarity of an LED including how to connect them. The anode is the positive terminal and the cathode is the negative terminal. It discusses topics such as the forward voltage drop of the LED and its relationship to the current flowing in the circuit. It also mentions the luminous intensity of the LED as measured in mcd or millicandela.

I'm not that much of a smart person either but what has helped me is that I keep a planner on what specific topics I study everyday. It's really helpful and has forced me to actually make time to study for at least 1-2 hour on most days. You can ask your friends for help as group study sessions are useful too! (make sure they're interested in studying the topic as well to avoid time wasted talking about unrelated stuff) Borrow textbooks from libraries! They have contents in the first few pages and you can identify the topics/subtopics you're weak in and work on them, watch videos on them too Spend less time on indulging in things that won't help (just an example you're invited to go out to a party when you could use that time to be more productive in your studies) Also please don't be discouraged, it's never too late to get better

If you are not a textbook type of learner, I suggest you might want to see Khan Academy. They provide mathematical explanation in almost all areas involving math. Also the topics were all arrange accordingly which for me serve as a huge help. Hope you find his helpful, sir.

Bruh don’t worry dawg, imma help you cuz I feel ya. First if you know basic addition substraction multiplication and division, you gotta know PEMDAS, which is basically the order you of how to do an operation. Always first solve inside the parenthesis, then exponents (which is like the number multiplied by itself x amount of times), then multiplication nd division are done equally, whichever comes first left to right you do it. Then it’s the same for addition nd substraction. After that learn about fractions and decimals. Then you could start doing stuff like x^2=x+5, what is x. After that whole stuff learn calculus, and that’s about it. It sounds hard but it ain’t as much as you might think. Hope it helps

How do led strips work? Why are you able to turn on specific sections or send patterns through it without just having on and off on the entire strip? I saw someone make a 8x8x8 cube with an arduino but I don't understand how each led can be individually powered when they are all connected.

With a controller chip, a little processor that receives information of which lights to turn on and which to leave off, and it only sends energy to the LEDs that its told to turn on by a determined program

how is there a voltage drop across diode wheb it is forward biased? or is it reverse biased because from diagram its forward biased
@vaynemarksyou6213
@vaynemarksyou6213 Жыл бұрын
Even in forward bias there is a voltage drop but its usually small(0.3V for germanium diode and 0.7V for silicon diode).Here we have a LED so its a bit higher.

With this account, the efficiency of LED lamps is very low! For example, in the last row of the table, the resistance is 82 ohms and the current is 29.8 mA and the LED voltage is 3.07 volts, which results in a power consumption of resistance is R i^2= 0.07 watts and a power consumption of LED is Vf i=0.09 watts. That is, a significant amount of energy is consumed by the battery in the resistor.
