The bulk modulus is actually positive. The negative is meant to cancel out the negative result from the change in volume

Wouldn't the change in pressure be 149 atm? Before falling into the sea, it would already have an existing pressure of 1 atm. Initial Pressure being 101.3 KPa and Final Pressure 15195 KPa. Thus change in P being 15093.7 KPa (149 atm)? Great video nonetheless.

Why was the negative sign in the change in volume in bulk strain not maintained for the the compressive force as well since they are all depressions.

In Pascale's law in a fluid every point inside fluid gets exerted force from all directions.. Why all forces are not balanced each other????

Because he forgot to move the minus, he had in the calculation of Delta V / V0, to his final answer.

Hello, blogger! I have focused on your channal for a long time and I have a small but vital problem after watching this video. It is related to the fomula that used to calculate the delta volumn of an object that under the surface of the water. In this fomula, there is a P, and you call it pressure. The question is that this pressure refers to the pressure on the top of the object or the bottom of the object if the object is so large (but compressible) that the change of the height is not negligible. Anyone can answer my question if you understand what I mean and have a relative correct comprehension and solution of my question. Thanks !

From what I understand, This formula assumes that the pressure is uniformly applied throughout the body (equal everywhere) So the resulting object is of the exact same shape just a bit smaller
