You are such a good teacher. Saying this as someone who has been a student and a teacher. Of all the teachers I've had from pre K through grad school you definitely stand out as someone who understands the tacit skill of conveying complex information to a beginner

I remember my favorite math teacher when I was in my 11th grade, this is the topic he discussed that I solved in my exam in his subject for the first time. I am one of those students who hates math but ofcourse there is always a math teacher you will love that despute you hate the subject unconciously you will love the subject because of the teacher.

at 10:35, should we write n as 4? given function there is (3/2)^(n-1) so why didn't we write n as 3 while calculating the sum, as the 4th term will equal to 27/8 not 81/16

when calculating the sum you're taking n-1, but the formula uses n

Might not mean much but I found this useful while playing Grand Theft Auto Online. I noticed that amount of points needed to progress to the next rank in the Arena War was the current rank multiplied by 10 plus 50. I'm at 440 and want to get to 500 so I need ((440*10+50)+(499*10+50))/2*(500-440) which is 284700 points to reach my goal. If I average 145 points a match then I will need about 2000 matches.

7:55 when n=1 why is it to the power 0 and not 1?
@notsuspicioususer40802 жыл бұрын
Because he’s substituting n=1 into the exponent n-1. The n in n-1 is replaced with 1, so it becomes 1-1, which equals 0
