Idealism as a school of philosophy is represented by Plato, Barkley, Fitch, Hegel, Kant etc. ( Not Aristotle). They supports the view that ideas are true not matter.

Hello.. I'm history student and let me clear people's misunderstanding about Manusmriti. Manusmriti was actually about society's Dharma. Like in constitution, there is fundamental duties for citizens. It stated that people's division were made according to their occupation. Like today we split people like Doctors, engineer, civil worker, labourer etc Varna system was flexible and far different from jati system (which came later in 3rd CE) . People who has teaching skill were putted in Brahman varna, people who don't possess any skill were to serve above working varnas. People could change their varna according to their occupation. All the problems now were not in manusmriti initially. All stupid prathas were added hundreds of years later due to some power thirsty and greedy people. But today some people connect varna system to jati pratha saying manusmriti started all this castism. Just spread disharmony among individuals. I also used to believe like you until my teacher and books told us. Kindly ask if you differ or any query if you have. 🤗
