Some of them fit well, some just don't. Mr Krabs is greedy, it's a core trait of his. Plankton's envy is a driving force behind most of his appearances in the series. Sandy's pride as a Texan and a scientist crops up more often than you'd think, and acts as a pretty easily excited weakness for her. Gary is actually gluttony, not Patrick; Gary's insatiable hunger is a running gag, moreso than Patrick's. From there it gets messy. Patrick could be thought of as sloth or gluttony, as two of his most common gags are "Patrick eats everything" and "Patrick is lazy". Squidward is usually listed as wrath, but his envy and pride are almost as common. And SpongeBob... well the only connection he has to lust is his affectionate nature, which doesn't hit quite as easily as the others. I'd think pride more than anything, given how much he cares about the Krusty Krab, the secret formula, and his status as the best fry cook in town. Cool theory, but it falls apart pretty quickly.

I would say the following: ~Greed: Mr. Krabs - Obviously, he loves money more than anything. ~Envy: Plankton - He wants what Krabs has (money, success, etc). ~Wrath: Sandy - When she gets mad, she gets _mad._ (see also insulting Texas) ~Gluttony: Gary - You're right, he does have an insatiable appetite. ~Pride: Squidward - He believes he's infallible, the best thing since sliced coral, and presented himself in every known medium. ~Sloth: Patrick - "For doing nothing longer than anyone else, Patrick Star". ~Lust: Pearl - She likes Long, Tan, and Handsome (I'll admit, I'm reaching a bit on this one; it _is_ a kid's show that rarely touches on romance and attraction). But what about Spongebob? Easy: He's the demon assigned to torment them all.

the thing with the sins is, they got replaced fairly often. the modern take is very precise in the different ones while older ones had sins meaning basically the same just with a different aspect as the main trait. so I could really think of that the creators were looking into that but they really digged into it to get an older take of the seven deadly sins.

Here's my take: Pride: Sandy (she's so proud with herself, her achievements, and Texas) Greed: Mr. Krabs (no doubt. Money.) Lust: Spongebob (his excessive wonder and obsession for petty things make him fall in this category. Take his erotic gestures towards the Krabby Patty, the spatula, towards Squidward, and many other things and you'll see.) Envy: Plankton (well, he badly wants what Mr. Krabs have) Gluttony: it's actually Gary (because he demands for food everytime, or maybe that's really his only role in the show) Wrath: Squidward (because he shows anger all the time even for simple things. His unpleasant demeanor to everyone will make you suggest likewise) Sloth: Patrick (no doubt. He hates inconveniences and tends to fall asleep when outside)

I think in the lore of this episode, Alex either thought of his own theory but the "thing" in his house made him reconsider. Or the thing made him start on the 7 Deadly Sins theory but Alex made the robot invasion theory instead.

I think this ARG is actually a lesson, KZbinrs try to make their viewers happy so they do what the viewers want, not what they want, so much in fact they make their whole channel based around that one particular topic, just like how Alex turned into “the spongebob guy” even though he wants to be a filmmaker but his films don’t get enough attention as the spongebob theories, so he based his channel around that instead

I think I know what the theory after the Robot Invasion Theory might be. So in the Goofy Goober Alien Death Cult Video when Alex showed the picture of the random word generator.Some people probably arleady pointer out words like "Muse" and "Meat" but before those words there were a couple of words.The first pair were: "Robot" and "Apocalypse" which were probably teasing the Robot Invasion Theory BUT after these words there are another two words:"Ghost" and "Pirate" which might be teasing that the 8th theory will be about The Flying Dutchman.

The secret ending twist theory was the one that I actually expected the most.
