Whenever I see a group of reactors I have to think of the idea that humanity, on average, is fucking stupid. The amount of stuff is missed, misunderstood or not surprising/surprising (when it shouldn't be), is honestly baffling. Like, this whole "she made a deal with the devil" thing was literally addressed in just one episode after that and specifically noted as "there's no truth". Ambiguity instead of clear cut "evil vs good" is like the biggest part of the show, besides "move forward". How do people ignore something as monumental as that.

well, ymir was born free, but since the eldian tribe captured her peaceful tribe, it started there. at such young age, she had to go thru that, and what is heartbreaking is that before the eldian tribe occupied the tribe she's in, she was always the helpful little girl but the people pointed all their fingers at her without hesitation... i mean, she did released the pigs, but given the fact that these people, without question and like i said awhile ago, no hesitation, just blamed it on little ymir is just... sad and heartbreaking. she tried helping those people in her own ways but the people she helped threw her just like that.

I'm onboard with his eradication plan as well tbh. The Eldians were repressed for centuries, especially after the King wiped their memories clean of the great wars and not having enough resources to retaliate. I like to compare Eren's methods in the means of how Lelouch from Code Geass went about his plan to protect his people, mainly his younger sister. If it takes the main protagonist, who is viewed as the hero initially, to become the villain *intentionally* to save their people and obtain their freedom, then so be it. As gruesome as it may be on one side of the argument, the war wouldn't just end in that sense, unless you wipe out your enemies. I don't understand as to why some of these "reactors" still see Eren as "selfish" and that he is only obtaining his freedom when he literally just said he's saving all those that grew up on the Paradis Island.

There is no demon. The “demon” was actually the worm organism that attached itself to Ymir. The worm entity is apparently the source of all life on earth and was dormant until Ymir accidentally made contact with it. Since this happened over 2,000 years ago, there were little to no written records of this happening during that time, so after Karl Fritz exiled himself onto Paradis, Marley fabricated a story of Ymir supposedly making a deal with the “devil” to obtain titan powers. This was done to create propaganda of Eldians as “devil spawn” and caused them to be subjugated to racism and prejudice, and were viewed as a threat to the rest of humanity. The “devil” was Marleyan propaganda and doesn’t actually exist in the AOT world.
