@@hekoancien I don’t think this is true at all. He’s one of the few big producers that didn’t “sell out” and start collaborating with pop artists. He just kept doing his thing, for better or worse. His music is still fantastic but he’s gone back to the techno of his early early years. Artists evolve and try new things over the years. This style lives on with his new collab with kascade.

It's rather basic plucky "melodic progressive house" and he'd easily be the biggest name in the genre. He's bored of it. It's literally just super saw chords with a filter. If you want similar stuff to this, search "melodic progressive house." That tends to be the one that's closest to the plucky chords of early deadmau5.

It's for DJs to be able to mix into the next song without having to overlap tracks with too much clutter and gives more time to bring in the song cleanly.
