Im using traffic x64 I saw the best way to lessen the traffic is to make your city really big with lots of roads and highways, as well as scattering your industries around the map.

Yeah, transport system on theotown needs a major fix. Maybe on a future update they will fix it

it actually works even though the usage indicator 0, try to compare the industrial area traffic with and without freight train. Put the depot and crane along the Industrial and you will see the truck around the Industry area decrease.

@@bitter_vanilla ouhhh....for my first city i only put the depot from industry area to rocket lauch site....maybe thats why i don't see it....and for my sec city i put the industry area at the corner of the map and connect it to my city that located on the other corner

When decrease a traffic volume, doesn't effect population, it just decreasing a cars volume on road. If your population decreasing, try to build more commercial or industry, and make sure you have a good service like fire,police,park etc ...

@@SafiqRahman the add more zones is right,it depends on the demand,If it's high you need to build more,I suggest you build a lot,always, anyways if the demand is high but you can't supply it then the population decreases,so in my city named Geneva Empire,who have 120k+ population,I never play it that much,it still have some space but I used that empty space for design it's barricaded by decorative walls,and I also don't play that city anymore as the population will decrease,it's in easy mode,so I can't stop the demand,and now my region has 200k+ population
