I preferred Battlefront II compared to Squadrons

I think Squadrons needs battles like BF2 had, instead of both sides trying to take out a single capital ship, one side is constantly defending while the other is constantly focused on objectives. Those battle imo told a story and maybe can up the player count to 10 v 10 rather then 5 v 5 to add the chaos thats missing. Another idea with 10 v 10 is have 2 capital ships instead of 1, double the work for 10 players but making it just as hectic and the bf2 battles look.

You Sony die but take a lot of damage so you need to repaire your hull more than once

Technically you don’t die on impact in battlefront 2 There are times I accidentally brush the side of debris and take heavy damage but it’s not an instant kill I get your point however

Im playing the EA trial right now for squadrons, and jumped on bf2 starfighter for the first time ever... im enjoying starfighter more at this point, especially in the OP boba fett ship, bf2 star fighter feels better with online had 18 players in my last game yesterday compared to just 5 v 5... i think squadrons would be better if it allowed more people in the lobbys, i feel like squadrons is a bit harder maybe, but thats probably just me needing to get better at it, with all my microsoft reward points i could get squadrons free right now.. but, is it worth it with bf2 starfighter? Ill make up my mind in a couple days

Squadrons got hotas support by default bf2 doesnt! In order to get it working in bf2 you have to use x360ce. Important point tbh

They should have given Squadrons over to Criterion... They nailed it on many levels. All the complaints expressed here could have been easily been a nonstarter if they'd had the dev hours and dollars that Squadrons full release afforded. Battlefront II Starfighter feels more stars wars and less cartoonish to me. There's too much to critique and I won't try. Long and short of it is BFII is better and Star Fighter Assault should have been expanded and further developed rather than the total cartoony reworking Squadrons is.

I havent played bf2 but to it seems it dosent fit in in bf and i personly think squadrons is better in graphics and design and pretty much everything but what bf wins in is that there is more ships and evryone is differnt

From what I’ve seen of squadrons is that if you wanted to be a true pilot in the Star Wars universe this is your chance But if you wanna try spinning because that’s a good trick you can do it in star fighter assault In battlefront 2 star fighter assault is my favorite mode because it’s much more balanced than ground combat where you can get stomped by hero’s or maxed T-21s Not like ground combat is all that bad but it gets frustrating when darth maul fucks your shit up and starts peeking like hes not next to invincible to me a singular player But in Star-fighter assault the hero ships are less capable of being overpowered Aslong as you get behind them they can’t kill you easily Or you get stuck doing these stale mate turn radius battles
