I have 'bell style' canvas tent (White Duck/Avalon). It's a tank. And it's worth saying again, canvas tents feel good.

I totally agree! I’m out now in 25 mph winds and it’s in the 50 degree range Springbar is comfortable

only thing im worried about is will it be safe packing up in humid weather?

A good question and since I'm from the arid west, I don't have any experience with that. If the material itself is damp or wet when you pack it up, that's a problem and it needs to be dried out within a matter of days, not weeks, before problems start. It might just mean you have to be more fastidious about storage.
