You know I hear Alan say a few discouraging things about this park. But me and a couple buddies are pretty new to the game and I feel like the kitty litter is Actually beneficial for us. We think it could make us better riders. Thank you for enjoying all these parks regardless of conditions. Your style rocks!

Agreed. For us intermediate riders, it's a great skill builder to NOT have hero dirt and perfectly groomed runs. That doesn't mean Snow Valley can't improve their trail maintenance, because they certainly can, but IMO Alan seems to still have a (legit) beef against Snow Valley for something that happened a long time back w their management (IIRC they used video of his without permission) so I'd take his review and criticism of Snow Valley with that grain of rock-salt FWII. Snow Valley has the same issues as any newer park under their conditions (ie: no corporate budget, etc.), but the direction they are going and progression of the trails (speaking as someone who's ridden there since they opened for MTB) is incredible.

@@TheOutsiderMTB Not wanting to be a total dick to Alan .. . but I'm not the only one who saw him lash out at Snow Valley when they used some of his video without permission a previous time he filmed there. Alan probably scrubbed his negs from that video's comments, but it was basically "don't steal my content" . . . which is 100% legit if you're a creator. All that said, I'm a local biker supporting my local parks. . . so I am far from objective and there's as giant a grain of salt to measure against anything I say in Snow Valley's defense :)

Awesome vid! Snow Valleys website said they had full sus rentals but they didn't specify what kind of bikes they were. Did you encounter any rental riders that day? If so what was the general consensus on the rental bikes? Keep up the dope videos!

Its was nice to meet you both out there @ Snow Valley!! I had a lot of trouble out there that day, it was super loose & being pretty new to mtb'ing I took my knocks as you could may be tell by how dirty I was!! My last run was down jumpline & as you both said in your videos...the speed was hard to gage!!! I wadded it up pretty badly on jump 4 & my 1 healthy lung was challenged. I was Blessed to ride out that night!! Still a bit sore but can't wait to get out & do it again (without crashing). Keep the vidz coming, Im trying to figure out where i wanna go next! Vid cred for getting me by my Avalanche in the back ground!! God Bless you guys!!
