Really nice video. As a bonus: your hotel is on the Downie River, but you can literally turn your head and see the confluence of the Downie and North Yuba River...hence the Forks. TWO rivers flowing through town!! It's a dream spot!

I was there during the fires at the end of August. It was a bit smokey and hot but the ride was still epic. My brothers stayed at the Carriage House and the best part was hanging out on the patio after with a cold one! Will come more prepared next time with some trail snacks (and maybe demo an e-bike from the local shop) as the few short climbs will kick your butt!

Grew up fishing the rivers and runoffs there. Didn’t mtn bike then, but would always pick up hitchhiking bikers before the days of shuttle buses circa late 90s early 2000s have since moved away but Hope to ride it someday.

Great video, and definitely prime conditions! Looks it just rained so you got some hero dirt and little to no dust, which is a problem out there in the summer. Can't wait to see your next vid man, keep them coming!

I went here a few weeks ago, the Outfitters in town said they didn't want to close the shop to give me a ride. There were no shuttles, you can not go here and just go for a ride unless you ride up the downhill. No ride, I left.. rude dude at the shop.

Epic video Outsider - hope you jumped in the river after. I remember when I rode this my brakes needed a bleed (which I found out mid ride), and on Third Divide I was pulling brake all the way to the handlebar basically and almost still going too fast. Good stuff!!
