This guy has the most impressive, natural charisma to him. Confident but incredibly chill. Also very polite. I think people who aren't old enough to have seen him just look at the Henry clips and think that kind of thing often happened, which it didn't. One of the best CB in the modern game of football. A calm leader who is rallying the current Liverpool team. Probably the only one who could be compared to the great Paolo Maldini.

Virgil is a humble guy and would have given Carra his props but get the feeling he's giving him a taste of his own medicine this time

His thought on Martinez was really good, and I still remember what Martinez told about him. Class, Virgil

I saw Virgil playing for Celtic and thought he would be perfect for us at LFC but I didn't think he would end up here. Victor Wanyama was another player I hoped we would end up getting but obvs he went spurs. Even Dembele. Gutted at time, that he went Lyon and I don't think we ever really even considered him.

Don’t think anyone realizes how important the part he mentions with seeing a counselor. I think people need to regardless of working world. We need to let off a bit of steam now and then in order to progress in life. I love VVD for us. The best central defender we’ve had, technically and physically he is infinitely superior to everyone else I have to admit. Not a tough tackler which I wish he was, even he says he gets that shitty feeling over him which we all dread let’s admit. I see a counselor from time to time too, we’re not brick walls people. ❤
