Though I'm a metalhead this is one of the songs i'd listen to whenever i'd break up or needed to remind myself of my own value. For some reason i remembered it today only to learn that TImmy died. R.I.P. buddy you've helped in more than one occasion and i suspect you'll continue to do so. Keep an eye out for us from up there. To family and friends, remember him fondly, I know I'll do.

amb500u8787uu The Overtones singer Timmy Matley died at the age of 36. Matley was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2016. Details surrounding his death are unclear however its reported that he fell from the balcony of a building in London on 9 April.. either way still very sad to die so young.😥

This song was the first song I ever had of the overtones. It made me instantly fall in love with the band which was the reason why I wanted to see them live. I even had the pleasure of meeting them before the concert and those guys are amazing and so down to earth! Just a couple of men who love to sing and appreciate their chances. I'm sad to hear Timmy passed away but heaven has gained another amazing angel ❤️🙁 R. I. P.

First heard this song in year 2010 outside of Drake Circus, Plymouth, England. I was buying new shoes with a good friend of mine (at that time) when the song was playing from the store next door. I wanted to record the song with my phone but he told me to ask from the store guy, which I did eventhough I was very reluctant in the beginning as I wasn't really good at starting a conversation with random strangers. The song reminded me so much of this friend. Thought we were close, then we parted ways as he went to our homecountry a year earlier and he'd never started a conversation with me ever since. I felt betrayed as he never once tried to start a conversation because I was crying my heart out when I was sending him off in 2011. My attempts at reaching him succeeded but always met with a simple, short reply. Really love this song though it pains to listen as it reminds me of those empty, meaningless memories.
