ABSOLUTELY! Most fighting sobriety can't relate to someone that has never slipped or battled with strong temptation. But Theo slipped and was man enough to admit it to THOUSANDS that he messed up like humans are known to do! That can help so many to not feel like a failure, to not give up on the DAILY FIGHT for sobriety. Seeing someone they look up to that slipped and instead of giving up and hopping off the wagon, he dusted himself off and got right back into it. Most long term relapse victims got back that way bc they slipped and those around them didn't support them, they demonized them and made them feel horrible. I hope at least 1 person struggling heard Theos slip and used it as inspiration to get back to sobriety or to double down on their continued fight!

Usually the best of them do... you can tell Theo is greatly appreciative of the spot he has been granted, but it also presents a ton of pressure. That sobriety thing, while being famous and having so many to throw their opinion your way must be terrifying! Theo is an honest and humble guy, and I'm glad he shared his sobriety slip with us. I hope and pray no one puts him down or tries to make him feel shitty for it, it is a day to day life long struggle! What's important is he gets back to it and does what he needs to be happy with himself.

I know everyone can say the same, but I feel so much better when I'm watching Theo whether I'm up or down. There are so many heartfelt and genuinely touching moments amidst his hilarious trademarked humor and off-the-wall comments. Every podcast is truly a perfectly wrapped package and I can't thank him enough for keepin' on keepin' on and being himself unapologetically. Salute, dawgy dawg 🖖🪖 Luv from GA

"I'm surprised because people care." As a fellow addict, I wonder if this is a thing with us. I constantly work under the assumption that no one is concerned, likes me or cares at all. Not in some weepy, sad-sap sort of way, but framed as a sort of constant of human existence. "The world is hard and no one cares." Maybe to some degree that's true, but from time to time you get surprised. Keep your head up fellas.

Man so glad I found this been struggling for years. I'm a functional alcoholic which I feel is the worst sometimes because you never hit bottom. I have a good marriage of 18 years and 2 wonderful teenage boy's and good career. I came from humble beginning and care deeply for people struggling while I hurt in secret. Dude you've reached me like nothing else keep it up bro!💯

So much love to the guy you called back. He sounds so sweet and I feel his pain. I hope he’s doing ok and yes, Theo is so much more than a comedian. I think many of his listeners, me included use him to get through sometimes. Theo you are a very special person and when you finally settle down I know she’ll be a great girl ❤
