It’s striking to observe individuals from Pakistan admonishing Americans on issues like racism, white supremacy, antisemitism, and homophobia, while severe human rights abuses persist within their own country. Pakistan grapples with substantial challenges: discrimination against its own minorities, intolerance toward external ethnicities, and even incidents of violence against individuals who voice differing views on religion. Given these circumstances, it’s perplexing how one might criticize American society on these issues without first addressing similar, if not more pressing, concerns at home.

And it's says alot about you and people thinking like you, his realm of influence is through from digital media and it's not his duty to solve every menace of Pakistani society. Should he not express his thoughts on America if his own country is under crisis? I'd say, seek objecticity on indiviual's stance😶
@thisismylongusernameonyoutube23 күн бұрын
@@Asralan78 There is no way we can address these issues in Pakistan on a political level because Pakistan was never, and will never, be a democracy. The US is relatively much more democratic and Pakistanis, and others, are more able to raise their concerns. That’s the only difference. When Pakistanis live in US and not Pakistan, logic says they should address issues taking place where they live.

1:00:00 I completely disagree with Uzair, he is analyzing the cost of war solely from the perspective of USA. The Ukraine War has exacted a very heavy toll on the economies of the Europe, specifically Germany. And much worse than that, it is serving to erode the unity of EU, as Victor Orban, Le Pen, and AFD has explicitly shown support for Putin. Moreover, the war has acted as a catalyst for the resurgence of far-right, and polarizing of EU politics. The longer the war lasts, the bleaker the consequences for the EU.
@user-rh5jp2sh4s26 күн бұрын
Well yes the cost for the west has been a financial one but for Russia it is a loss of people. Ofcourse Ukraine has lost many people, but that isn't the concern of decision makers in the West (bitter reality). But what Uzair is missing is that also economically Ukraine war has strongly accelerated many developments like de-dollarisation separate financial transaction systems etc.. these will have a profound effect on western economies particularly US in years to come

34:18 regarding the topic on xenophobia in Maine, there’s a big crisis since last year where lots of Mexicans, Indians and some other nationalities are getting visit visas of Canada, flying to Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, etc. and then using a network of taxi drivers and other agents to cross illegally into the US. This is prevalent on the eastern side. Western side is still safe for now. I hope that does not change. The number of crossings YTD in 2024 is far larger than total crossings in 2023. The role of Indian and Pakistani permanent residents in the US Election 2024 is crucial, as they can significantly influence the outcome, particularly in swing states. While I couldn't find specific information on their direct involvement, here are some points to consider: - *Indian American Support* : Historically, Indian Americans have leaned towards the Democratic Party ¹. Kamala Harris, being of Indian descent, might attract more support from this community. - *Pakistani American Support* : Pakistani Americans have also traditionally supported the Democratic Party, but their voting patterns can vary depending on individual circumstances. - *Key Issues* : Both Indian and Pakistani Americans might prioritize issues like immigration reform, healthcare, education, and foreign policy, which could influence their voting decisions. - *Swing States* : States like Florida, Texas, and New York, with significant Indian and Pakistani American populations, could be crucial in determining the election's outcome. Regarding who supports which party, it's difficult to make a general statement, as individual preferences vary widely. However, we can look at some general trends: - *Kamala Harris' Support* : Harris has been endorsed by various Indian American organizations and has strong ties to the community ¹. - *Donald Trump's Support* : Trump has maintained a significant following among some Indian Americans, particularly those who appreciate his business background and stance on terrorism.

One question Shehzad, to what Uzair said. Shouldn't it also be taken into consideration that Trump has publicly given a deadline of January before inauguration day for Netanyahu to end the war? Also I get it about the MOAB he authorized on Afghanistan, but isn't Uzair forgetting how much Obama wanted to do a "Surgical" strike on Syria. Sir I remember like yesterday the amount of Republicans who were so Anti-War and against anything. If you recall all those Marines on social media who were covering there faces saying we stand against it. Additionally, to Uzair I push him on this shading out of Pakistani Uncles, at the end of the day yes there is a fringe white nationalist push in the supporters of GOP. But those black folk who marched with MLK believed in the family structure and had conservative values who also were overwhelmingly Republican prior to 68'. It's just something that be it Black, Latino, or Pakistani folk just have to tolerate, or on the left like the immigrant academia liberal Pakistani class like Uzair who accept or go so far as to affirm the LGBTQ as a lifestyle (and genetic as opposed to a choice). I am personally an independent, but it should be fair and dually noted that both sides make concessions if they go off the moniker of being Muslim (i.e. just like the example Uzair made of "muslim" gas station owner selling alcohol). At the end of the day I fell like th Kamala hasn't given any clarity on any issue and Rashida Talib didn't give her the endorsement. I am not sure if I should vote Trump or just sit out.
