As Indian I must tell you guys one story. We Indians in multiple Indian Cities get subsidised electricity. Specially in Capital Delhi, monthly expenditure of up to 200 units is free. Bill is zero. Ultimately 90% middle class and lower income households gets 7-8 months of electricity bill equals to 0. This makes a huge difference. Imagine this guard who gets bill of 14k per month gets to save all of his money and use it for development of his own and his family.

Giving subsidies to middle class and lower class is good but just take the example of Delhi the government of Delhi earns 25% of their revenue from Liquor sale's and in Pakistan only 5% people drink and government doesn't take any taxes on the sale's or liquor and also Indian economy is not struggling our economy was just on the edge of bankruptcy in 2022 and the inflation was 34% which has decreased in the recent year's and came to 9% but that's also high so yeah our government should also provide subsidies to the middle class and middle lower class

There is no such thing as a free lunch.If the government subsidizes something, it is still going to come out of the funds available. Something else will either be more expensive or some other facilities will have to be axed. Regarding the people who made the move from India being nothing less than aristocrats, it's the same on the Indian side as well. A lot of people will say 'Hamaari bahut jaydaad thi udhar, dooor-doooor tak khet, plot hee plot, haveliyan' , etc etc. I don't mean to belittle anyone's tragedy, as it was a traumatic period for anyone who had to forcibly move and leave their home and hearth, but surely by that yardstick India's lands would have included present day Iran and Afghanistan too. I live in Germany. I can now clearly see their attitude changing towards outsiders, especially Muslims. This has started mainly after an enormous influx of Afghan migrants. Recently there were several cases where Afghan migrants stabbed local Germans. Although Germany has a diverse culture and they are more accepting of foreigners than the rest of Europe, I can see their attitude changing towards outsiders. The best place to migrate now would be East Asia like Japan or South Korea. The power dynamics are shifting from west to east.

Pashtuns used to live in mountains in Afghanistan and slowly they started coming to land. Also like other current ethnicities we have in South Asia, Pashtuns also got very mixed . I believe South Asia is genetically a very mixed part of the world, The South Asian region has faced many invaders from different parts of the world.

Mqm downfall started after 2008, when the party gradually stopped functioning and only the badmashi element remained behind. I was a supporter of mqm, and still used to make fun of Altaf Hussain, he gradually went from from progressive approach with egoistic and comedy touch, to crazy and pathetic. Majority of the supporters just tolerated him because he kept the party running, and himself never ran for public office, which was unique in Pakistan. If he has reluinquished his control of the party in late 2010s, the party would have survived, but usnay apnay saath saath party bhi duboo dee. Simple. Secondly the party just didnt dissappear out of the blue. The party operational HQ was shut down along with all the unit offices. Scores of workers were arrested. Alot of them still missing to the date. Again, the ammount of millitiary operations faced by mqm between 1990 and 1999, and then in mid 2010s, no other party has faced this. Militiary did support in creation of the party, but didnt create it like they did with PTI. They might think they did, like they still think that ISI broke up soviet union. But that doesnt make it a reality. Again i repeat MQM has been under state operations for long time. Compared to that pti walon say sirf chusni hee cheeni hay.
