I like the bottom. At first, I thought it could be filled with dyed epoxy (some color other than black), that would draw one's eye, but it already does. inspiring

Thank you very much Robert. I think dyed expoxy is a choice many would make. I avoid the stuff . Not that it does not look good for somethings. Just not for me. Loved this one Gary. Must have missed the survey, but this one was fantastic..the inside bottom I really looked but you didn’t show it long enough to really make up my mind unfortunately. I go through a lot of CA on punky wood. Thin I fill the voids with the same species of wood from the bandsaw or sanding dust that I collect from my Drum Sander.

Man I thought you were going to hollow thinner so that the bark areas would be voids in the final piece. I’m glad you didn’t, I was worried it would explode on you. Nice job adapting to what the wood gave you!

I love the look of the piece.. How have you been. I've not turned anything in awhile. the whole selling stuff at my booth has been keeping me very very busy. cutting boards and tables . bowls don't do much. people love them but not the price. I need to get back to it.
