Thank you also for showing the different types of glitter paper with their pros and cons. What I am grateful for is that you demonstrate at a pace that one can understand everything. I just saw your video yesterday and loved the glitter paper! I have a couple of Anna Griffin die sets (Lace Trimmings and Ornamental Frame) and I went to Michaels yesterday and bought their Recollections glitter paper pad. It worked beautifully! I ran it through my Cuttlbebug and it cut the dies so nicely. THANK YOU so much for sharing this. It's amazing how glitter paper can really add such a nice touch to a card. :-) And I have to say.........I love your nails and your polish. You have the prettiest nails and the color is so soft. Thumbs up.

I broke my cuttle bug using force to get a die through. I would not use force with the cuttle bug. I have been fighting with this glitter paper. It's so beautiful but so hard to cut. I finally bought the Fiskars die cutter and it works great especially if I use the evolution soft mat with the glitter paper. I just received these dies in the mail they are so pretty. Thank you for sharing.

I find that DCWV glitzy paper one of the most difficult to work with in my collection too. However, it embosses beautifully! Try that. I don't find the DCWV glitter paper to be as hard to die cut as the glitzy. Good to know that I should skip the Hobby Lobby brand. As I understood the precision plate, if you use that with an intricate die, you should plan to continue to use it every time you use that die. I'm afraid it will dull my Anna dies in the long run. I'm curious to see if you've experienced more difficulty using that same die on regular cutting plates after using it multiple times on the precision base plate. Either way, thank you for sharing your experience. It matches my own.

How do you put glue on this to adhere to a card/project? Wouldn't it be better to add the double sided tape first?

I have glitter paper from Michaels from their open stacks. It is very thick. I have an Elizabeth craft poinsettia die pieces that I tried to cut with my cuttle bug. It wouldn't cut at all. I used an A plate and 2 B plates. I even tried the C plate. Nothing. I'm wondering if the metal shim plate that they sell would work. The glitter paper I have from Michaels is thick and stiff. Any ideas.

Not everyone has a tabbed baseplate for their Sizzix machine. The greatest pressure tends to be at the outside edges, not the center, which can be useful to know when you have a detailed or difficult die. Similarly, when you have a lot of cutting surface across the machine horizontally, each edge gets less pressure, so orienting dies to use the length rather than the width of the plate tends to provide better results.

Why do you waste so much of the glitter card by placing the die right in the middle of the piece? If you cut it to the right size you would have more for more for other dies. I see it all the time that the presenter wastes so much of their supplies. I guess I have to be more careful wirh my stash than most people so it bithers me to see the waste.
