Pam, I've been watching and enjoying your ideas and videos for nearly three years. I'm so glad you haven't changed a thing! You are delightful and so fun and creative. It's nice to know there's someone out there (besides me) who talks to their paper and hears their glue snickering back at me. Don't change a thing! Bless you. :)

I was thinking about using felt circles that you put on the bottom of chair legs to avoid scratching your floors up. They are cheap, come in several sizes and you can get them at the dollar store . Instant ink dauber replacement pads for thread spools etc.. Angela from Oregon

Dont have spools, but the corks from wine &&& sparkling waters!
@831Miranda Жыл бұрын
I've done exactly that and it does work, altho it's a bit rougher and one needs to get used to it to achieve the softer effects. I've used champagne corks (a little more ergonomic and fun to obtain :-) ) and also wooden thread spools. Haven't done ot myself but it seems that a hand molded piece 9f air dry clay with velcro at bottom would also work ...

I love that you seem to be a free spirit when you create. I was watching the one where you used your lunch box and a stapler to create a journal. When you stapled the first set of papers it was off, and I noticed once all were stapled in how off one was. You just rolled with it. I was overwhelmed that the papers were not just so! I admire that about you so much. Much success!!

LOL yep Murphy pays rent here at my house...we have learned to coexist happily ;)
@abigailphoenixthepaperaddi25012 жыл бұрын
@@ThePaperOutpost How did you get Murphy to actually pay rent? (hehe) He's a stubborn dude and refuses to pay rent here, refuses to leave, and every attempt to evict him has resulted in more "Murphy Moments" LOL!!! I do agree, though, that your approach to things going "wonky" is just go "eh, it happens"... it's priceless. I'm trying hard to get that inner Miss Perfect to hush. Pretty sure she's in cahoots with Murphy....

Oh, Pam... You ever wanna know what living in Alaska is like, feel free to ask questions. =D I lived there a total of 10 years (with a break of about 2 years between the two times), and my partner was born, raised, and lived there until we moved to the Lower 48 in 2010. It really is a different place. In a lot of ways, I miss it (especially as my hot flashes increase in severity lol), but... it really takes a strong mindset to thrive there. Winter (or, as I called it... The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul), depending on how far north you are, is DARK. As in, a normal 8-5 job - you'd rarely see the sun. Where we were (interior AK), the "shortest day" we'd get about 2 hours of light. Light. NOT SUN. Reverse held true in summer! It wasn't unusual in summer to hear young kids running around, playing at 11pm, people grilling at that time, etc - the oddity of the sun really throws off internal clocks! In winter, at -40 below 0 (Fahrenheit), grilling on your deck was common. And... ironically, the consumption of ice cream is extremely high overall, but more-so in winter! So many, MANY amazing things about life in the "Final Frontier." I think my absolute favorite of all was bundling up, laying in the snow, and watching - and listening to (they crackle & pop)- the Aurora. If you were lucky enough that they were directly overhead, you could whistle, sing, or clap & they'd shift around in response. Many a time, I laid there, knowing the science behind them... but still in complete awe. It feels magical... reverant... and tbh, indescribable.... - Loving the ideas with the tracing paper so far. Havent finished watching yet (paused cus you were talking about the cool event/lecture you want to attend about Alaska), and you're on the 3 pocket set... I thought, "hey... why not secure a sticker, or stamp something, etc, nestled between the two layers?" So... there's an idea for anyone wanting to "go a step further". Anyway... back to the video (and bless sun-bun... so cute with those drops of water on his little face lol) Edit... ooooo, love using that open spot on the sides as a kind of tuck/belly band holder! Ohhhh, the shaker! I love how the tracing paper creates that bit of haze... it makes you want to look closer at the shaker! Ok.. the trim is beautiful. It almost looked like silk after you added the inks! That ribbon you added was perfect for it! Way to go Sunny! You aresuch a good boy!!!
