I am 71 years old and have been doing crafty stuff of all kinds since childhood. Junk journaling is quite new to me and I am having a marvellous time trying out this and that. Always something new to learn on your channel . So far have made three Christmas journals and one Autumn one as presents for my friends this coming year. I am collecting scraps and colouring pages for a journal for ME next , very excited ! Thank you for all the ideas and tips. I can totally see translating this to using bedsheet stamped with script and colored with multiple colors! It would be a tiny bit more fussy cutting, but they would be more durable and you could make more layers for more floofiness! Also, if you start your cut closer to the point, you’ll end up with more “petal” like flaps to crinkle and “floof.” I’m excited to run with this idea! Thanks for sharing Pam! ❤

Hi Pam. I just learned a wonderful tip from another post (Frappy and Scrapy) and I thought I would share with you. She used a white paint pen to color in the numbers and letters on the dials of all her Cropadile punches. They are found on the twist about part at the front on the little black plastic piece. I had no idea they were there!

My goodness, those turned out really nice. This is another bulky object that would go into a super-stuffed chunky monkey journal. I'm waiting for your best attempt at constructing a base that could hold a lot of extras. The basic construction might have fewer pages or sparse signatures, and a wider spine, and it would look pathetically gaunt before dressing with the boobobs. Pam, I see in the future another interesting full-journal series from you, using so many of the different bulky items you've demonstrated in the past. I love this squishy cloth covered journal you've been working on. As you said before, if the cover starts shrinking back, you could just add extenders to it. So pretty!

You could use tulle to cover the flowers on the spine. It disappears, leaving its color, yet provides a network to hold and protect the flower.

Just love all the mooching and smooching…you make me 😂 The pup updates are great. Didn’t know dogs could eat green beans! Oh your flowers are cute…I saw someone do the exact same thing but with 2 inch squares of cheese cloth! Take 3 squares staggering the layers, fold in half then half again a touch of hot glue then place on circle! Make 4 and place! I like the 5 petal look though! Anyway these are fun too 🥰

Watching this morning- I thought about using water color paper, painting it pink ( or any flower color) then punching out the 4 large circles and 1 small circle, and add flat back pearl as center. Thanks for inspiration!!🙂❤
