Makes me SO MAD that patients are treated this way. I’m so glad that you had the ability to get a private scan and met the angel who saved your life with the diagnosis. But still - it should it be that way. Wishing you health and happiness for many years to come.

I love your attitude. It’s so encouraging. My sister has breast cancer, I’m trying to find inspiration for her in these videos. Yours was really one of the best. Thanks for sharing your journey 🙏🏽

Thank you for sharing your story. You are beautiful and I’m so glad you are living! Like truly living. Congratulations. Some people don’t live because they are too afraid of what could happen, even if they were never diagnosed with a terrible disease. Honestly, we are all dying, but some know why and others have no clue. Live a good life. Take care of yourselves, feed your body good food, but LIVE!

I'm so sorry. Public health care stinks. My son had leukemia, and he had the red devil, along with 4 orher chemos. Chemo is tough. My son also had PTSD after treatment, as did I, to a lesser degree. He's doing better now, though. I hope and pray you're doing well.

I had cancer around 8 years ago and at that time my consultant told me because it was skin cancer it was basically the best cancer because it won't travel to any of my organs but after doing my own research I found out he was wrong and yes skin cancer can now pop up anywhere in my body at anytime, even though it won't show as skin cancer because it would not be in my skin but somewhere else and another form of cancer. So yes go with your instincts and listen to your body not your doctors. How dare they just dismiss you who do they think they are? Because they're not always right obviously, but they think they're always right and know everything. I'm so sorry for you and your family xx

@@RustyShakleford1 i am in Canada. I don't know what will they make about it. He kept on saying you won't get it and then got angry when i called him because i was in a lot of pain due to cancer. I am stage 4 now. He never took a stand for me but instead gaslighted me. I hope to take revenge soon.

I have been following your channel for a while. It's great that you are sharing your experience on The Patient Story. First, your story is a good lesson in how to take charge and advocate for yourself when the health care system is brushing you off. Second, it gives others hope that they can do as well as you are now while stage 4.

I started watching Dee’s videos in 2018 when I was diagnosed with Stage 3 triple negative (BRCA negative though). I absolutely adore her. She helped me SO much. What a light she is to those of us that face this diagnosis. I’m very sad that her cancer came back and I truly wish her and her family all the best. Though my outcome has been positive I continue to watch her videos. I’m just so proud of her, what she’s been through and continues to go through. ❤

I'm so sorry that happened to you. So glad someone helped you find out about the cancer. Because you had a gut feeling. And you were absolutely right. I was diagnosed with stage 3b triple negative breast cancer in 2021. I had chemo treatments, surgery, radiation treatment and immunotherapy. I'm cancer free now. I'm praying for you and others dealing with breast cancer. Take care sweetheart and God bless you. ❤❤

My daughter was diagnosed at 25. She was told it was probably a milk duct, as she was pregnant. Her baby would absolutely not feed from the breast thst had the lump.

I am so mad at the doctor who did the hand exam and told you it’s not cancer, I’m fuming. He should not get away with this, he needs to be held accountable because otherwise he will do same to others

I hate it when Drs say a patient is too young for cancers! Cancer doesn’t care what your age is! To me, these Drs are idiots and really need to be educated properly for various cancers and knock it into their heads that age doesn’t matter! I had gaslighting from GPs regarding my vascular disease and finally seeing vascular surgeons. 2 surgeries since then.

You’re one of those annoying people who can rock any hair colour I see..while simultaneously kicking cancer into the long grass and being the best mum to your lovely boys..and long may that continue DeeDoherty⭐️❤️ thankfully you went with your gut and acted on it..but it’s chilling to think how many people this happens to now especially with the rundown services then throw in the covid backlogging everything..
