I had breast cancer in 2010 with a lump first... Then another one with another lump in the other breast. Lost my long hair twice. Still alive. 😃 Wishing the best!!

I’m watching your video as I’m struggling to deal with one of my good friends passing. She was 33 years old and had stage 4. There was an idea that she had cancer but her official diagnosis was a month ago and she passed yesterday morning. It spread so quickly I just can’t believe it. She just started chemo on Monday and she couldn’t handle the chemo. They were going to go back the next day and try again. She had to be rushed to the hospital that night and she passed on Wednesday morning. I wish you all the best with your journey!

My symptoms of breast cancer were an extremly itchy rash on my aereola, diagnosed as eczema, and then a discharge from my nipple. My mammagram showed calcifications in all four quadrants of my breast. I ignored my primary care and went to see a sugeon at a major cancer hospital. Biopsies showed that I had Paget's disease of the nipple and that all of my milk ducts were filled with high grade DCIS. I needed a mastectomy on that side so I chose to have a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. That was 32 years ago and I've been just fine ever since then.

I loved your story! Mine was caught by an ultrasound (no symptoms) and wham! Breast Cancer! I had a mastectomy and very recently another mastectomy on the other breast. I am high risk chek 2 positive with mother aunt and grandmother that had breast cancer. I wish you the BEST! I loved how clear and precise you spoke and am shocked at the age of which you got breast cancer.

An excellent video that’ll be very helpful to anyone facing breast cancer treatments (of course, each cancer is unique and results in different treatments). Thank you! I’m a long-time survivor of stage I triple-positive bc. I must say that I was very glad to hear that you have a new oncologist (your previous one should’ve had an associate to help patients while he was away). I admire your strength and upbeat attitude! I do want to say, however, that few cancer patients want to accept dying as an option, but it’s not always within one’s control (as we all know). Adorable child! Wishing you good health from hereon in.

I am a Baby Boomer and the Doctors I grew up with were "Real Doctors" and amazing. Growing up, they were close to my Mom's age and genuinely cared about their patients. They actually answered their phones. Their lobbies were always full. Even in my 30's I would wait for 2 hours to see "My Doctor." Now the doctors I go to are my age or younger. They are pathetic. They do not take your calls, even though they have less patients (often lobby is empty), take lots of vacations, and make a fortune. At my last cardiologist appt. and having several serious heart conditions I was told he is only allowed 10 minutes per patient. When I left there was no one waiting in the lobby. So please change doctors whenever you are not listened to or ignored. A cancer patient on these videos said to quit believing doctors are there to help you. You or someone who cares about you has to help you and advocate for you. Do not depend on a doctor. This man had pancreatic cancer.

Girl, you are amazing! I loved listening to your journey 😊 I can’t thank you enough for sharing it. My husband has CLL, which is slow growing. So, nothing like what you’ve endured, but it’s always looming over my head whenever he gets sick, or gets infections, and things like that. Everything you shared was encouraging and helpful for me. So, thank you, my Dear. I loved how you said, “You can get through it.” You have such a sweet spirit but then you are also so strong. You offered really good advice; I thank you for that, too! I don’t think you were “given cancer.” I have to respectfully disagree with that. We have mortal bodies that get sick. That’s the reality. Sometimes it just doesn’t make sense but crazy things happen. Sometimes there isn’t a cause or reason - it’s just that things happen like this by “chance.” I’m old enough to be your Momma, so please allow me to say you are adorable and so so so precious. Grace and peace! ❤

Did anyone here who had/has cancer have any body stressors anytime before your diagnosis, like mental stress or grief, over working, over exercising, or an unhealthy diet? I've been doing lots of research and found that most people who had cancer had some type of stressor beforehand. Some body stressors may not feel like stress. For example, running marathons makes people feel good, but it's actually stressing the body. Anything that over stresses the body causes systemic inflammation and cell malfunction and lowers the immune system so it cant repair damage thats happening.

Sorry, missed the part about the second time being in 2015. They had to remove 17 lyphnodes. So I asked them to remove both breasts.
