The thing that was most impressive about Holloway doing that is the fact he already won the fight… he could’ve ran from Gaethje for the entire 5ᵀᴴ round if he so wanted to and still would’ve won. But nope, that’s not how he’s built! Lol Only 10 seconds left and he’s still giving Gaethje his chance to steal a win. (Also it shouldn’t go without being said that his opponent in that moment being none other than Justin mf’n Gaethje only adds to it, making it even more impressive/bad@$$.)

The fact that Max ended the fight the way he did WHILE UP 3 ROUNDS TO 1 makes it an even more perfect way to win the BMF Title. That took HUGE balls to do that to a guy like Gaethje, Max is a absolute DAAWWWWGGGG and I've loved watching him for the past 12 years in the UFC. Max needs to call out some BMF's and challenge them like a BMF just like he did Justin Gaethje. I mean ffs... who calls out Justin Gaethje for a fight? If Max defends that BMF Belt a few times that record might stand for a very long time. He should stay with BMF fights twice a year until he finally loses it and raise the stock of that Belt and set a New Record with each Title Defense he wins. Imagine Max defending the Title 3 more times against true and worthy BMF fighters? This will solidify Max as the face of the UFC. The fighter that never said no, always fought to win, marched forward to war relentlessly, the youngest to do almost everything in the UFC, set records that may never be broken like his #1 UFC History Ranking (Total Strikes Thrown Count) and #1 UFC History Ranking (Total Strikes Landed AND Significant Strikes Landed). He has seen more TOTAL OCTAGON TIME than any Featherweight in History. Max, Ranks #2 in the LIGHTWEIGHT DIVISION now while sending Justin to #3 or so. That was Max's 13th KO and biggest KO of his career against the hardest punching Lightweight probably ever in Justin Gaethje. Max also has 2 Submission Wins in his career and has one of the highest Takedown Defense Percentages in the UFC. No one yet in 29 fight has ever held Max Holloway down on the ground for more than a few seconds and 99% of everyone that has ever tried to take him down, Failed and lost the fight against Max. He has out struck his opponents his entire career by almost double the strikes.
