Do you understand how hard it is to land every single one of your receivers on the Covid list? That is absolutely 100% their fault if that happened. As condescending as it sounds, does it not have some merit? Imagine the championship game without Mahomes. Plus, the Chiefs are hottest team in storylines. "First team to win back to back Superbowls in over twenty years?" and other stories. Lost revenue if he doesn't.

It’s all about the money, and the players thinking they’re superhuman. The NHL dealt with the face of their league going down with a concussion in 2011, Crosby was hit in the winter classic and was immediately “cleared to return”. He played another game 4-5 days later and took another hit that didn’t even look bad, but because of how fresh his first concussion still was, it ended his season and set him back significantly, he didn’t return to dominance for another 2-3 years following the two concussions, and clearly if he would have sat out 3-4 weeks in the first place, who knows what could have been for Sid. If Mahomes takes one big hit up high just days after an initial concussion, the consequences could be devastating just like Crosby back in 2011. Just ask yourself Patty, is it really worth it?

Yeah but Farve often went back into the SAME game after taking a hit to the head. The 1st concussion is not that bad, but to get hit again right after makes it multiple times worse. Even 7 days is pushing it. But none of that matters because the K.C doctors already said it was a pinched nerve not a concussion. Sometimes, when I stand up too fast, I look excatly how Mahomes looked after that tackle.
@williamd18913 жыл бұрын

It's crazy that there are reports out there saying that it was because of a nerve in his neck that he was woozy on the field after the hit but you have other doctors saying that there is no nerve in the neck that would cause this.

That's horrifying. How does that work exactly? In medical terms
@BlackOceanSociety3 жыл бұрын
@@rolandxb3581 When you get a concussion the likelihood that you sustain another one increases. When you have one and you don't take the proper precautions to rest you're susceptible to increasing the severity of that concussion and the damage done to the brain. My friend for example had concussions from playing football before even reaching the highschool level and when he got them he would hide it from our trainers because they would have kept him from playing for 3-4 weeks. By the end of highschool he had mood swing problems, deafness in one ear and experienced vertigo regularly. The ease at which you sustain concussions gets to the point where so much as bumping your head getting out of a car can give you a serious concussion.
