This was a fun interview. I became more of a Luke Combs fan due to his loyalty to his Panthers and fellow songwriters. He's absolutely hilarious in his assessment of his team. His explanation of why he wore the Falcons jersey and he being invited to the Super Bowl is absolutely hysterical. This was awesome. Mr. Combs, yes, 20th ranked offense with Baker Mayfield (NFL comback player of the year, rember, we had him?) that went deep into the playoffs. I'm from Boone too bud, and a HUGE Panthers fan. I think that Kuechly/Davis was the best LB tandem ever! I remember smash & dash with Derlhome, and of couse Smith and Moose. Don't let misguided disdain cloud your vision of Canales, I think Tepper got this right! I'd play for this guy, and I'll bet the players will too.

Luke needs to work on that imposter syndrome. Professionalism is defined by the top people in an industry. IBM set the standards when they were on top. Everyone wore a suit. Microsoft set the standard when they were on top, people wore t-shirts and jeans. The wealth boom in the late 80s and early 90s gave us dress shirts and polos at microsoft. Google gave us the t-shirt or polo, even for execs. What Luke does is going to contribute to the definition of professionalism in his industry.
